The secret chest can be found on top of a balcony. As you make your way down the docks using the cart with fire to keep yourselves safe from rats, don’t push it towards the water just yet. Instead turn around and you’ll see a ladder that leads up to the balcony with the secret chest.

The secret chest is located above the dock house. As your boat lands in the dock, you’ll use your sling to hit the metal weight in the center of the room. Go outside to the rocky shores and make your way behind the building. There is a small hole in the wall that you can slip through and stairs leading up the second floor where you’ll find the secret chest.

The secret chest can be seen behind metal bars inside a building with the metal door. When Amicia and Hugo lock themselves in the building to hide from the soldiers, there is a hole underneath the where the baskets are stored that you can crouch through. The secret chest is hidden beneath the wreckage. There is a part in the chapter where you’ll combat enemies hiding in cover after going through this don’t immediately head to the objective. Instead look to your right and you’ll encounter a gap that you’re able to squeeze through and light it with a torch.

There are two secret chests in A Plague Tale Requiem Chapter 9:
First Secret Chest Location for Chapter 9
The secret chest is at the top floor of the tower. You can find this tower through exploration of this chapter before heading across the footbridge, choose to go left instead and explore during this period. Hugo loves “conquering” these towers so he’ll notify you of when you go near it. This is where the knife can also be located for the second chest.
Second Secret Chest Location for Chapter 9
The second secret chest can be found in a section where you overhear a soldier apologizing for pushing a woman out. You’ll need to climb up some rocky ledges next to the path to get to it.

The secret chest is on top of some scaffolds. Right when Sophia saves you, you can light the way to get on top of the scaffold to get to it. From there it’s pretty straight forward to get the secret chest.

The secret chest can be found behind some chains which Amicia can break to get past. This is when you drop down from the large temple. After climbing up some ledges, look towards the right and you’ll see where the chain is that you can break with the slingshot to get to the secret chest.

The secret chest can be found in the ruined village on a platform overlooking the sea. After climbing up the ledge and seeing a burning building across, there is a Greylag Goose feather that you can pin on Hugo. Go right and open the door and you’ll immediately see where the secret chest is.
