One of the features that made the game unique from other FF titles is materia, equipment used to cast spells, summon, and use new command abilities. In this guide, players will know all the materia fusion in Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion and what they can do, so read on.

    What is Materia in Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion?

    Materia, as stated, is the equipment used to cast spells, summon, and use new command abilities. There are different types of materia found in the game and they can be easily enhanced further upon certain conditions. Upon taking missions and quests, especially looting treasure chests, players can easily stumble upon materias they can use to get stronger.

    There are currently 5 types of Materias that players can obtain in the game, which are as follows:

    • Magic
    • Command
    • Summon
    • Support
    • Independent

    Materia Fusion is a feature in the game where players can select and combine two Materia to create a new one. Depending on what type of materia they fuse, they will get various effects.

    When the fusion is done, the Materia created are usually set to level 1 but when two of the same materia are mixed together, the one with the higher level is chosen. Also, another thing to note is that the one with the higher stats will have its value carried over upon fusion.

    • Blizzaga + Thunder = Firaga
    • Blizzara + Silence = Dark Blizzara
    • Blizzara + SPR Up = M. Barrier
    • Blizzara + Thunder = Fira
    • Blizzard + Fire = Thunder
    • Blizzard + Poison = Dark Blizzard
    • Blizzard + Thunder = Fire
    • Cura + Death = Curaga
    • Cure + Dash = Regen
    • Cure + Silence = Cura
    • Dark Blizzard + Octaslash = Hell Blizzaga
    • Dark Fire + Octaslash = Hell Firaga
    • Dark Thunder + Octaslash = Hell Thundaga
