The Chamber of Starlight is a Lost Sector that players can take on in Destiny 2. As with any other Lost Sector, clearing the Chamber of Starlight is a good way to get exotic armor pieces in a short amount of time – that is if the player is well equipped to handle the challenge brought on by the enemies within it.
In this guide, we will talk about how to locate and get to the Chamber of Starlight and how to clear it quickly.
How to Unlock the Chamber of Starlight
To be able to get access to the Chamber of Starlight, you must clear the Forsaken story campaign and you must also complete the Awoken Talisman quest. This will unlock the Dreaming City where the Chamber of Starlight is located.
How to Locate the Chamber of Starlight
Start off by heading to the Divalian Mists in Dreaming City. Head northeast crossing through the other side of Divalian Mists to arrive at a cave tunnel. Go through the cave tunnel to arrive at Rheasilvia.
As you exit the cave tunnel, continue following the dirt path to the right until it ends on a cliff. Down below the ravine is another cliff platform connected on the other side of the cliff. Jump down the cliff and try to land on the platform. The Lost Sector symbol can be seen on the cliff wall to the right and the banner for the Chamber of Starlight to the left. Interact with the banner to start the Lost Sector.
How to Complete the Chamber of Starlight
The main objective for the Chamber of Starlight is to open the locked chest which requires killing the boss: Inkasi, Disciple of Quria.
From the banner, continue advancing through the cave until you see the wall to the chamber. At this point, there will be several hostile guards patrolling the area, including two minibosses such as the Unstoppable Taken Phalanx and the Overload Taken Hobgoblin. Use the rocks to provide cover and you can also snipe down the enemy from the balcony on the wall.
Once you have cleared all the enemies outside the chamber, proceed through the passage to enter the Chamber of Starlight. From the entrance of the chamber to your right is a platform leading to the balcony as seen from the outside, and to the left is another platform adjacent to a higher platform where several ranged mobs will be providing backline support with their projectiles.
A lot more hostile mobs will be guarding the area and the boss will also be present on either one of the platforms, so be patient and take them down one by one. Try to kite the minibosses away from the middle of the chamber and try to keep a position behind a rock to serve as your cover between you and the enemies. You can also take care of the mobs above the higher platform right away to not get suppressed.
Once all the lesser mobs and minibosses are cleared, you can focus your firepower on the boss. Inkasi is a mobile boss who will move between the platforms. She can also throw bursts of projectiles at your location. After she’s defeated, open the chest located at the left platform to collect your loot, and exit the chamber from the balcony.
Depending on your power level and the difficulty that you ran the Chamber of Starlight on (Legend or Master), you can complete this Lost Sector within 10-20 minutes. It is recommended to just run the Chamber of Starlight on Legend difficulty with at least at Power Level 1550 to get more efficient runs since more tougher champions are present in Master which will take more time to defeat. Enemies have Solar Burn and will have either Solar or Void Shields, so prepare your gear and weaponry accordingly.
The Chamber of Starlight can be challenged again as soon as you exit so you can farm the area for exotics as much as you want.
