Destiny 2 The Witch Queen Glaive Weapons Guide

The Glaive weapon in Destiny 2’s Witch Queen expansion has been revealed. Throughout the new campaign, Guardians from all around the world will travel to Savathun’s Throne World.

Players can expect major modifications to their Void abilities with Void 3:0 as well as the addition of a brand new weapon type: the Glaive.

Legendary and exotic-tier glaives are now available in the expansion, giving players more options than other Special weapons can provide them. Including how many there are and how to get your hands on one, here’s everything we know so far about the Destiny 2 Witch Queen Glaive weapons.

What is a Glaive in Destiny 2 Witch Queen?

The Glaive is a hybrid weapon in Destiny 2 that combines both melee and ranged capabilities.

It may be held as a melee weapon, similar to a lance, and is the first melee weapon in the Destiny series to be used exclusively in first-person.

It may also fire its blade at adversaries, as well as granting various bonuses based on which one you have equipped.

All Glaives in Destiny 2 Witch Queen so far

There are four types of glaives in Destiny 2 that we discovered thus far, three of which are class-specific exotics and one of which is a Legendary weapon:

    • The Enigma
    • Edge of Concurrence
    • Edge of Action
    • Edge of Intent
The Enigma - Destiny 2 Witch Queen

    The Enigma

Obtainable shortly after The Witch Queen’s first mission, The Enigma is the first glaive that players will encounter in the game, and it serves as a test run for the crafting system as well as the weapon itself.

    Class: Any

    Rarity: Legendary

Trait: Shield energy can be generated by dealing ranged attacks.

Edge of Concurrence - Destiny 2 The Witch Queen

    Edge of Concurrence Glaive

The Edge of Concurrence is a Glaive specific exotic tied to the Hunter class. This glaive has elemental properties and allows you to chain lightning together when it generates enough energy. The Edge of Concurrence glaive is excellent for taking our groups of enemies quickly.

    Class: Hunter

    Rarity: Exotic

Trait: Track targets and unleash chain lightning on impact.

Edge of Action - Destiny 2 The Witch Queen

    Edge of Action Glaive

The Edge of Action is an all new Glaive weapon type for the Titan Class with protective qualities that offers benefits to the user. This hybrid melee/ranged weapon can place down a protective shield after dealing a certain amount of ranged damage. It is an excellent weapon for Titans wishing to protect their Fireteam.

    Class: Titan

    Rarity: Exotic

    Trait: Deploys a protective shield.

Edge of Intent - Destiny 2 The Witch Queen

    Edge of Intent Glaive

The Edge of Intent is a Glaive weapon specific to the Warlock class which has restorative properties. You can raise a frontal shield that depletes over time and unleash a deadly melee combo. After generating enough energy, you can lay down a turret which restores health to your Fireteam.

    Class: Warlock

    Rarity: Exotic

Trait: Deploys a healing turret on impact.

A new Glaive, Lubrae’s Ruin, exists, although the weapon pattern hasn’t yet been discovered.

There may be additional discoveries to be made during the Witch Queen or Season of the Risen, and we’ll be sure to add them to this page.

How to Get the Glaive in Destiny 2 Witch Queen expansion

The steps to unlocking the first Destiny 2 Witch Queen Glaive are as follows:

    • Complete The Arrival, which is the opening quest.
    • The Relic quest may be picked up from Ikora Rey.
    • Investigate the Relic in Enclave on Mars, which is located on the opposite end of Ikora’s position
    • Open a new menu after the cutscene by pressing Approach Relic.
Choose Shape, then The Enigma, and then follow the instructions that appear.
    • Choose your perks by selecting Adaptive Glaive. Then, to finalize the shape, click on the Glaive’s icon on the far right.
    • Voila! Congrats on your first Glaive: The Enigma

You’ll need to complete The Investigation Board exotic quest during the campaign to unlock the Exotic variants.
