Halo Infinite Forerunner Artifact Locations

A Halo Infinite Forerunner Artifact can be pretty hard to miss. However, in the main campaign’s semi-open world may leave you missing a few of them which can lock you out of the Haruspis secret achievement. If you want all Halo Infinite Forerunner Artifact Locations then you’ve come to the right place.

Halo Infinite Forerunner Artifact Locations

In order to be able to scratch a single Forerunner Artifact off your list, you need to actually scan them first. Simply finding them isn’t enough. Scanning your very first Forerunner Artifacts will give you the Eld Aficionado secret achievement. There are 7 Forerunner Artifacts in total scattered throughout the Zeta Halo Ring.

Forerunner Artifacts can be pretty difficult to miss. They’re large rings you can see from a good distance. However they are located in some pretty far off places in the open world map so you might want to look for a Banshee or WASP before you go looking for them.

Scanning a Forerunner Artifact can reveal some alien encoding. So if you’re after the lore in Halo Infinite, this can add to some trivia.

Forerunner Artifact Locations

There are 7 Forerunner Artifacts found throughout the Zeta Halo Ring. Some of them are scattered pretty far, so we recommend you take a WASP or Banshee to be able to locate them. To learn how to find a WASP or find a Banshee, you can click on the respective links.

Here are all the Forerunner Artifact locations you can find in the Halo Infinite Campaign. Click on the pictures to enlarge them for a better view.

1st Forerunner Artifact Location

• Location – Center of the Map, Northwest of FOB Delta, East of Harpoon Squad

You can find the Forerunner Artifact Location in the center of the map. This is pretty accessible when the Zeta Halo Ring opens up to you so you can find it early in the game. The Artifact in on top of the mountain’s edge east of FOB Charlie, you’ll get a distress call from the Harpoon Squad which is pretty much a short walk from the Artifact.

2nd Forerunner Artifact Location

• Location – North of the Map, Southeast of Outpost Tremonius

This Forerunner Artifact Location can be found as early as exiting Outpost Tremonius which is fairly after the game’s prologue. It is near the lake just below the outpost. You can’t miss it.

3rd Forerunner Artifact Location

• Location – Southwest of the Map, Southwest of Ransom Keep

The third Forerunner artifact can be found pretty early in the game after you raid The Tower Chak’Lok resides in, who is one of the Halo Infinite bosses in the game. You can find it southwest of Ransom Keep.

4th Forerunner Artifact Location

• Location – Southwest of the Map, Northeast of FOB Golf

The 4th Forerunner Artifact can be found on the southwest region of the Zeta Halo Ring. You’ll eventually have to liberate FOB Golf first before you raid the tower. The 4th Forerunner Artifact can be found on top of a mountain northeast of FOB Golf.

5th Forerunner Artifact Location

• Location – Center of the Map, Southeast of a Spire Beacon, Northwest of Raven Gate

The 5th Forerunner Artifact can be found in a mountainous region in the center of the Zeta Halo Ring map. You’ll find it near one of the Spire Beacons you have to infiltrate in the later missions and northwest of the Raven Gate . You won’t be able to access it until the Pelican Down mission.

6th Forerunner Artifact Location

• Location – South of the Map, Northwest of FOB Hotel, Southwest of Gun Battery

The 6th Forerunner Artifact can be found on the southern region of the Zeta Halo Ring map. It’ll be Northwest of the FOB Hotel with a Gun Battery located in the island across up north. You’ll be attacked by the Banished as soon you come here so just be prepared.

7th Forerunner Artifact Location

• Location – Southeast of the Map, North of FOB November

The 7th and final Forerunner Artifact can be found on the Southeast of the Zeta Ring Halo map. You won’t be able to reach this place until you complete Pelican Down main story mission. This artifact is guarded by three cloaked Elites carrying Energy Swords.

Halo Infinite How to Access Forerunner Artifacts?

You have to scan Forerunner Artifacts in order to access the data they offer. Go near one glowing in blue and you’ll get a prompt that says “Scan Artifact” which you can then press.

Halo Infinite Forerunner Artifacts Achievement

You will get two achievements centering around scanning Forerunner Artifacts in the Halo Infinite main campaign.

• Eld Aficionado – scan your first Forerunner Artifact
• Haruspis Achievement – scan all the seven Forerunner Artifacts

Halo Infinite What Are Forerunner Artifacts?

Forerunner Artifacts have existed before Halo Infinite. They’re alien architectures that contain important and relevant data to the plot.

There’s no missing Forerunner Artifacts since they’re pretty large architectures. So large in fact, that one of Halo Infinite’s multiplayer maps is actually a Forerunner Artifact in itself.
