Pawmot and its line are part of the newest Pokémon to be introduced in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet and is considered as Generation IX’s “Pikaclone” for being an electric rodent. Unlike most Pokémon, Paw mot can only be obtained through a special evolution method.
In this guide, we will talk about how to evolve Pawmo to a Pawmot and share some tips and tricks on how to get one early on in the game.
Where to get a Pawmi/Pawmo
Pawmis can be easily seen in southern Paldea and can be found in groups. Pawmos can be seen a almost all parts of Paldea and can be seen among a group of Pawmis. A Pawmi can also evolve into a Pawmo at level 18.
How to Evolve a Pawmo to a Pawmot
To obtain a Pawmot, you must have a Pawmo in your party as the lead Pokémon and then send it out to make it walk with you (ZR button). Once it’s out, you must walk at least 1,000 steps with it, then make it level up by gaining XP or by feeding it a Rare Candy.
The location where you walk does not matter whether it’s in a city or in the wild. Though it is possible to walk the Pokémon while riding Koraidon or Miraidon, it’s not much of a faster method as the Pokémon you’re walking with will get back in its ball once you’re too far away from it, and most of them cannot even keep up with the player’s run speed.
