Genshin Impact’s Lost Valley domain, is the game’s newest domain that was added in the Genshin Impact 2.6 update. The Lost Valley Domain is located in the newly unlocked area called The Chasm in Genshin Impact. The problem is that the path to this domain is blocked and it requires a lot of Geo power to clear the blockage.
In this guide, we will look into how to open the path to the Lost Valley Domain.
Where is the Lost Valley Domain?
The Lost Valley Domain is hidden within the caves of Fuao Vale on the north part of The Chasm, as seen on the map below. Right on the wall where the cave entrance should be is a unique rock that completely blocks the path to the domain. It is where the Echoes of an Offering and Vermillion Hereafter artifacts can be found.

How to Unlock the path to the Lost Valley Domain?
To unlock the path to the Lost Valley Domain, you are going to need a Geo character. For this method, we recommend to use the Traveler switched to the Geo element since you will be needing the Starfell Sword talent that can give three Geo Constructs to work with.
Pay attention to the huge crystals jutting out of the ground near the entrance. Shattering the unique rock is sort of a puzzle where we need to use Geo Constructs to serve as conduits as they resonate and let energy flow towards the unique rock once we strike one of these huge crystals with a Geo attack.
Place two Geo Constructs between the unique rock and the nearest crystal
Try to space them equally apart in between the unique rock and the nearest huge crystal towards the center. They don’t have to be perfectly aligned.
Place the first one here:
Then the second one here:
Climb on top of the tallest crystal
Quickly make your way on top of the tallest crystal before your Geo Constructs despawn.
Use a Geo attack on top of the crystal to trigger a shockwave
You can use the last charge of your Starfell Sword to strike the top of the crystal and watch as the shockwaves make their way towards the unique rock and eventually destroy it.
You can also use other Geo characters like Zhongli or Ningguang and their respective Geo Constructs to unlock the path.
Once you have successfully broken the unique rock, you will be able to access the Lost Valley Domain. You will also get the Wonders of the World achievement upon unlocking the domain.
There is also another hole inside the cave that has a chest and two bomb plants that can be detonated to reveal another path that leads to another part of The Chasm.
Lost Valley Domain Recommended Levels and Team
The domain recommends a combination of Pyro, Electro, Geo, and Anemo characters to fight the machines in it.
It is also recommended for the party to be at these levels when challenging the respective levels of the domain:
- Level I – Party Level 59
- Level II – Party Level 69
- Level III – Party Level 80
- Level IV – Party Level 90
Lost Valley Domain Enemies in Genshin Impact
You will need to defeat the following enemies to clear the Lost Valley Domain:
- Ruin Monsters
- Ruin Guard
The Ruin Monsters in the Lost Valley Domain are the most prominent aspects of the domain. At the highest level, it contains a slightly more powerful form of a Ruin Guard that resembles the Iron Giant, which is the most difficult monster to slay when compared to the weaker side bosses. It is worth noting however that these monsters receive additional damage whenever characters uses an elemental skill.
