Those who have bought Uncharted Legacy of Thieves can have their save filed transferred from PS4 to PS5 allowing them to recontinue their adventures. Trophies earned from the previous generation will also be carried over to the latest gen Sony console. If you’ve ever felt like reloading an old save file or achieving platinum, there’s never been a better time.
The process of getting your saves from your PS4 to PS5 is actually a straightforward endeavor. You just need your save filed stored on your local console or imported to the PS Plus Cloud. The former is free, the latter requires subscription.
On the file stored in your PS4, you can acquire it via USB or import that to the PS Plus Cloud. At that point, it’s just a matter of transferring or downloading the save files from either Uncharted A Thief’s End or Uncharted The Lost Legacy.
Trophies will be transferred automatically. You simply just have to be connected to the internet. It’s pretty much the same process that Sony introduced for the Director’s Cut of Ghost of Tsushima.
If you already own the PS4 version of either Uncharted The Lost Legacy or A Thief’s End, then you can opt to upgrade them to the next gen version for $10 and gain access to both games. Not a bad deal to get an extra remaster of Uncharted for $10 USD. The $10 upgrade automatically gives you the Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection.
As for whether this PS5 upgrade is worth it can depend on players who want to re-experience both games for the latest generation at a better performance. If you’re ready to hop in for another adventure with these PlayStation classics then the Uncharted Legacy of Thieves might just be what you’re looking for.
