Resources are the most important thing to collect in Valkyrie Elysium. They are important in many aspects for they can upgrade Maria’s skill sets and her weapons as well. This guide will teach players all the upgrade materials they need and where to farm them best.
All Valkyrie Elysium Upgrade Materials
Gems are the resources that players need to upgrade their character skills and weapons. Each time players will upgrade, the cost of gems will increase as well. For weapons, players will not only have increased stats in both physical and magical aspects but will also learn new combo skills. In the skill street part though, mostly what they have are increased stats on the offense, defense, and even, support.
There are 9 types of colored gems and each of these gems is farmable and can be obtained through defeating enemies and smashing breakable items like crates, barrels, stones, and more.
Below is the list of gems found in the game including what they are mainly used for and where can they be located easily.
Yellow Gem
- Common upgrade material
- Location: Common drop material from enemies and bosses in every Chapter of the game
Magic Gem
- Common upgrade material
- Location: Common drop material from enemies and bosses in every Chapter of the game
Violet Gem
- Common upgrade material
- Location: Common drop material from enemies and bosses in every Chapter of the game
Emerald Gem
- an upgrade material used for enhancing weapons from level 2 up to level 4
- Location: This material is dropped most in the Be’elzean Territory (Chapter 1)
Azure Gem
- an upgrade material used for enhancing weapons from level 5 up to level 6
- Location: This material is dropped most in the Galdban Territory (Chapter 2)
Scarlet Gem
- an upgrade material used for enhancing weapons to level 7
- Location: This material is dropped most in the Lucardan Territory (Chapter 3)
Silver Gem
- an upgrade material used for enhancing weapons from level 8 up to level 9
- Location: This material is dropped most in the Romalian Territory
Black Gem
- an upgrade material used for enhancing weapons to level 10
- Location: This material is dropped most in the Serpent’s Lair
Rainbow Gem
- an upgrade material used for enhancing weapons to level 10
- Location: This material is dropped most in the Serpent’s Lair
Unlockable Weapons and Skills Trophy in Valkyrie Elysium
Players who have upgraded all their collected weapons to max rank and have unlocked all the skillsets of Maria will receive the following trophies and achievements in the game:
- Commanding Master – Silver Trophy – Learned all of Valkyrie’s skills.
- Anvil Master – Bronze Trophy – Upgraded every weapon to its full potential.
Valkyrie Elysium is out on PS4 and PS5. The PC via Steam gets the game on November 11, 2022. The demo is currently out for US, UK, Southeast Asia, and Japan accounts.
