You might be asking, where is Dying Light 2 set? The structures and buildings of The City don’t really seem to have any identifiable features. At least not one that is transparent. Here is where the plot of Dying Light 2 really takes place.

Where Does Dying Light 2 Take Place?

Dying Light 2 takes place in Villedor City. It is a fictional city set in Europe that is about four times larger than the first game where players will be able to freely roam around its seven distinct regions.

It is hard to pinpoint exactly what country Dying Light 2 takes place in. According to the Dying Light fan page, the game’s main location, The City, takes place in a European setting. Unlike Harran from the first game, The City is an entirely fictional location. Its incredibly bland name doesn’t give any hints to its location. Originally, it was called Villedor City before its name was changed by the survivors. Its tall buildings mean you have to use grappling hooks and paragliders to get around.

It is noteworthy to say that Spike from the first Dying Light game makes a return in the game’s prologue. So we can’t be too far away from Turkey.
