What are Nails in Forspoken?

Nails are a piece of gear that enhances Frey’s abilities and skills in battle. These nails can be found across the map of the game through side missions that players can partake in. However, Breakshards which can be dropped from enemies and earned from quests are required in order to craft a set.

All Nails Locations

Each Nail has different stat boosts and effects that are worth using and most of them can be found by completing challenges and progressing through the main story.

Aftershock

• Where to Get: During Chapter 5, dropped from an enemy in objective The Fall of Tanta Sila: Enter the Castle
• Effect: Killer Blows Generate A Shockwave & All Spell Damage +2%

Blue Flash

• Where to Get: Automatic During Chapter 3
• Effect: Attack Spells Charge More Quickly & All Damage -5%

Slay

• Where to Get: Automatic During Chapter 3
• Effect: Support Magic Deals More Damage When Surge Magic is Full Charged & Frey Spell Damage+5%

Amped

• Where to Get: Complete The Ruins of Calme in Avoalet: The Untrodden Forest.
• Effect: More Damage Inflicted When More Enemies are Present & Frey Spell Damage +5%

Beaucoup

• Where to Get: Complete The Ruins of Alda in Visoria: Inner Visoria.
• Effect: Surge Magic Recharge Rate is Boosted on the Number of Spells Learned & Allll Damage -5%

Blessed

• Where to Get: Complete The Village: Chichek in Avoalet: The Water Garden.
• Effect: Improved Critical Hit Rate & All Spell Damage +2%

Bounce

• Where to Get: Complete The Brome Guild in “Avoalet: The Moulderings”. Players can use the Glide ability to surf across the lake on Samum Coast, then walk up the mountain to reach this.
• Effect: Healing Item Effects Are Boosted & All Damage -5%

Clutch

• Where to Get: Complete The Village: Reeve in Junoon: The Blessed Plains.
• Effect: Healing Item Effect Boost When Health is Low & All Spell Damage +2%

Dig Deep

• Where to Get: Complete The Fort Wielki in Praenost: The Guardians’ Way
• Effect: Improved Surge Magic Recharge Rate & All Damage -5%

Escalate

• Where to Get: Dropped by Abomination: Apsaravis in Junoon, Nowhere.
• Effects: Enables Killer Blows to Be Chained Together & All Spell Damage +2%

Fatale

• Where to Get: Dropped by Abomination: Gigas in Praenost, Mount Garrison.
• Effect: Enemies Can Be Knocked To the Ground More Easil Based on The Number of Spells Learned & All Spell Damage +2%

Flaunt

• Where to Get: Complete The Fort Gabb in Visoria: Yonder Cape.
• Effect: More Damage Inflicted When HP is high & All Spell Damage +2%

Frostbite

• Where to Get: Complete The Fort Sestina in Visoria: Visorian Plateau.
• Effect: Top-Level Attack Magic Can Freeze Enemies in Place

Grit

• Where to Get: Complete Cave: Plateau Hollow in Visoria: Shepherd’s Hollow.
• Effect: When Health is Low, More Damage will Be Inflicted & All Spell Damage +2%

Heavy

• Where to Get: Completed The Village: Perle in Avoalet: Samum Coast. You can use Frey’s flying ability from Samum Coast: Western Belfry to fly from one floating rock to the next until you reach the village on the big flying mountain.
• Effect: Debuffs From Prav-Specific Spells Last Longer & Prav Spell Damage +5%

Honor

• Where to Get: Dropped by “Abomination: Amphicynodon in Visoria, South Plateau.
• Effect: Damage Boosted Based on the Number of Prav-Specific Spells & Prav Spell Damage +5%

Hope

• Where to Get: Complete The Fort Chahiye in Junoon: Crosstide Coast.
• Effect: Damage Boosted Based on the Number of Frey-Specific Spells & Frey Spell Damage +5%

Ignite

• Where to Get: Complete The Ruins of Zelenina in Praenost: The Path of Glory.
• Effect: Top-Level Attack Magic Can Set Enemies on Fire & Sila Spell Damage +5%

• Where to Get: Complete The Kloros Guild in Praenost: Middle Praenost. Fly through the window of the tower upstairs by using Frey’s flying ability.
• Effects: Debuffs From Frey-Specific Spells Last Longer & Frey Spell Damage +5%

• Where to Get: Complete The Ruins of Sommay in Avoalet: Golden Hills.
• Effect: Support Magic Recharges More Quickly & Frey Spell Damage +5%
