Though The Quarry is set in the year 2021, its narrative and vibe is heavily based on the 80’s slasher horror movies and the game did not shy away from adding those numerous clichés and references.
What better way to give in to the 80’s feel than to have the main characters have the fashion sense from almost four decades ago? We’re going to take a look at all the available 80’s outfits in The Quarry and how to get them.
The game has done it so well, so much so that we often found ourselves forgetting that the events in the game supposedly happened last year, and whenever we see the characters hold their smartphones, the moment felt kind of anachronistic.
How to Get the 80’s Outfits in The Quarry?
The only way to get these 80’s outfits is by purchasing the Deluxe Edition of The Quarry. You can also upgrade from the Standard Edition to the Deluxe Edition to acquire the outfits.
At this point since the game’s release, the outfits cannot be obtained in the game yet. The game will get an update on or before July 8, 2022 that will include the 80’s outfits, as well as the online multiplayer mode.

How to change to the 80’s Outfit in The Quarry
Since the 80’s outfits are not yet available in The Quarry, we can just surmise that it would just be a toggleable option in the game’s settings. We also have yet to get word if the outfit change will be applied to everyone once toggled or if there’s an option that would allow us to select which characters require a costume change. We’ll definitely have this updated once the update rolls out next month.
