Riven Gate is one of the sectors that the UNSC badly needed to retake from the Banished as it’s the only point that is still “terrestrially” attached to a chunk of the halo’s eastern side, thus makes it a strategic site, not to mention that there are still surviving UNSC personnel that got stuck there.
In this guide, we will look into how to find all the collectibles available in the Riven Gate.
Where is Riven Gate Located?
Riven Gate is found on Island 4 – The Sequence located near FOB November to the southeastern portion of the map.

Lower the three gates
Halo Infinite’s Riven Gate Banished Outpost has three massive barricades that must be taken down in order for us to complete the mission. These terminals can be found around the area by scanning it. Each task should only require a brief exchange of information. Additionally, you can fly a Banshee from this structure.
There is a switch in a nearby sniper tower that allows you to open the central panel and it is located inside the building.
Destroy the Power Generator
The power generator must be destroyed if the gates have been lowered. Take off in your Banshee and fly to the destination marked on a map, there’s a spot where you can park the Banshee on the rooftop.
However, we recommend leaving the Banshee at the base of the nearby cliffs, you can just use your Grappleshot to make it back there.

Recommendation: It’s best to lower down all three gates and unlocking all the building doors via their respective terminals first as there are some collectibles that you can grab along the way while completing these objectives, such as some of the audio logs and the Spartan Core.
You may start from the East Side of the Riven Gate coming from FOB November (as the how the order goes with this guide), or you may also start from the West Side coming from FOB Kilo.
Where to find the UNSC Audio Log 1? – Riven Gate
The UNSC Audio Log 1 or the UNSC – Outpost Intel 14 – Convalescence, is just right Outside the East Riven Gate. Head towards the cliffs southeast of the gate, climb the cliffs and try to locate a portable antenna. Just below the antenna is the audio log “Convalescence” beside a sniper rifle.
Where to find the Banished Audio Log 1? – Riven Gate
The first Banished Audio log in Riven Gate or the Banished – Outpost Intel 13 – The Great Spine is just within the gate compound. Head towards the northwest section of the East Gate, clear out the area and activate the terminal in the nearby tower to open up a locked building. Inside, you’ll find the audio log “The Great Spine”.
Where to find the UNSC Audio Log 2? – Riven Gate
The UNSC Audio Log 2 or the UNSC – Outpost Intel 13 – Trench Warfare is located towards the northern cliffs near the West Gate. There is a cave near a sniper tower that leads into the mountain. Climb on top of the entrance of this cave to fin the audio log “Trench Warfare“.
Where to find the Banished Audio Log 2? – Riven Gate
The second Banished Audio log in Riven Gate, or the Banished – Outpost Intel 14 – Encroaching Glory, you must continue from outside the building where the first Banished audio log was. Take the jump pad to jump across to the opposite cliffside. Enter the building immediately in front of you and the audio log “Encroaching Glory” can be seen at the back end of the building.
How to find the Spartan Core 4? – Riven Gate
Starting off from where the second Banished audio log was, turn right towards the corridor. Head straight through the room and into another corridor where the Spartan Core chest is sitting at the corner.
Where to find the Banished Deception Scorpion Coating? – Riven Gate
To find the Banished Deception Scorpion Coating in Riven Gate, head to the Mjolnir Armory. The Mjolnir Armory is located on top of the cliffs south of the West Gate. The climb can be quite steep, so it’s recommended to just ride a Wasp from FOB Kilo to the top of the cliffs or steal a Banshee. In this armory, you’ll find the Banished Deception Scorpion Coating.
