A new leak has revealed the Season 3 cover art for the supposedly upcoming Call of Duty Warzone Godzilla vs. Kong collaboration event and its release date.
Call of Duty Warzone Godzilla vs. Kong Season 3 Event
Several posts on Twitter have revealed two cover art designs of upcoming Season 3 collaboration event. It will involve Call of Duty Warzone and the Godzilla vs Kong film where Godzilla and King Kong are the main stars. The upcoming event is called Operation Monarch, which can be found on the leaked cover art designs. Check them out below.
How King Kong and Godzilla are going to factor in the game, no one knows yet, but it could be via a skin (which would be hilarious) or a crazy in-game event where they enter a round and cause chaos. It is highly likely it will be the latter with how the cover art design is being depicted.
When is the Collaboration Event Happening?
PlayStation Game Size Twitter account has revealed that update 1.57 has now been added to the database. This means Season 3 collaboration event is highly likely to happen now as this account has accurately depicted many leaked information so many times already. They also revealed when Season 3 will be released, which will be on May 11, 2022.
Is Activision Confirming the Event at All?
Several social media accounts of the game franchise and Activision have already given many hints in the form of posts, short clips, and images. They all obviously hint to Godzilla and King Kong joining in the game in some form. An official announcement will get posted anytime soon.
Call of Duty Warzone is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Operation Monarch is reportedly happening on May 11, 2022.
