The Destiny 2 Season of the Deep has added the new Warlock Strand Aspect: The Wanderer, which opens up possibilities for an extremely deadly build. It adds a lot of utility to the already deadly Threadlings which can seriously put enemies at a disadvantage, and we’re sure you can already think of plenty of ways to use it. Here’s what you need to make the best Destiny 2 Warlock Strand The Wanderer build in Destiny 2 Season 21: Season of the Deep.

Season of the Deep brings us The Wanderer Aspect which add more utility Threadlings that we summon. This Aspect makes it that Final Blows with Threadlings create Tangles which you can throw at enemies, attaching to them before detonating and suspending midair. This build capitalizes on that to its fullest extent which is why you have to pair this up with the Weaver’s Call Aspect which lets you deploy Threadlings upon setting down your Rift.
Using the Threadling Grenade will also be beneficial here. In order to keep summoning Threadlings, take the Thread of Generation which recharges grenade energy upon dealing damage. We’ll be dealing even more damage with Threadlings and making them go farther with Thread of Evolution equipped. We recommend taking armor mods that also reduce your grenade cooldown so you can get right back to using it.
With the Swarmers equipped, you can spawn even more Threadlings once you destroy a Tangle instead of picking them up. This leg Exotic also lets your Threadlings unravel enemies, debuffing them and making you deal more damage. Here’s where the Improved Unravelling Artifact helps because you deal more damage to enemies when they’re debuffed by this which is only increased with the Conductive Cosmic Needle.

Threadlings are extremely useful in PVP seeking out and damaging other players for you, making The Wanderer an enticing Aspect to make a build around of. In Season of the Deep, Destiny 2 buffs the Strand element which gives us powerful options. With The Wanderer specializing in adding utility to your Threadlings and creating Tangle that you can use against enemies, we can make that the core of this Strand Warlock PVP build.
For your second Aspect, equip Weaver’s Call which lets you deploy Threadlings upon using your Rift. We can buff the damage and travel distance of the Threadlings with the Thread of Evolution Fragment.
Instead of using the Threadling Grenade, you should instead equip the Grapple Grenade because of its utility allowing you to escape confrontations or finish them. The Thread of Generation will allow you to keep this grenade available for use as much as possible since it’ll refill grenade energy upon damaging enemies.
The Round Robin is one of the best PVP weapons for this build and compliments your Strand element well. The Immortal is also nothing to sleep on which makes it a great secondary pick for more close encounters. For armor, we highly recommend the Swarmer leg armor Exotic because it debuffs enemies with unravel once they’re hit with your Threadlings. This is where the Conductive Cosmic Needle and Improved Unravelling will really kick in allowing you to deal fatal damage to those afflicted.
That’s our take on the best Destiny 2 Season of the Deep The Wanderer build for Warlocks.
