To find KK Investigation Notes in Ghostwire Tokyo, the first clue to knowing whether or not an investigation note is in the area is to check on the Shrine completion progress. It’ll tell you how many KK Investigation Notes are in the immediate vicinity if there are any.

Next, you’ll want to equip the Sleuth Beads. It casts a green spirit orb going directly to the investigation note the moment you start scanning with Spectral Vision. At level 1, the beads will point you in the direction of KK Investigation Notes 100 meters away. At the maximum level, the range goes as far as 300 meters.
