Moonstones in Disney Dreamlight Valley might peak your interest at some point. And despite the fact that everyone is having a great time with the game so far, you may begin to feel that the moonstones are scarce and that you need to put a lot of effort into improving your valley to increase your chances of obtaining them. Since it isn’t entirely apparent how to get Moonstones in-game, we’ll gladly share with you some tips on how you can obtain them, so read on.

What are Moonstones in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

Moonstones are the game’s premium currency and will be utilized for a wide range of items as Disney Dreamlight Valley grows.

As in many other free-to-play games, you can spend real world money to gain access to features that would otherwise be out of reach. It’s true that you may play the entire game for free, but unlocking all of the cosmetics and other perks will require the Moonstone microtransaction currency.

There are currently three methods to get Moonstones in Disney Dreamlight Valley, which are as follows:

  1. Obtain by purchasing a Founder’s Pack
  2. Obtain by completing the Pixar Fest Star Path challenges
  3. Found from random blue chests

Buying a Founder’s Pack is the primary, and arguably most efficient, method of acquiring Moonstones in Disney Dreamlight Valley. There are three editions to choose from, each with its own set of enticing extras and a substantial quantity of Moonstones:

  • Standard Edition – 8,000 Moonstones
  • Deluxe Edition – 14,500 Moonstones
  • Ultimate Edition – 20,000 Moonstones

The game is not pay-to-win, which is awesome, and the in-game currency may only be used to purchase non-essential cosmetic items. You can play the entire game without spending a dime on Moonstones for any purpose other than decorative ones.

Moonstones can also be obtained by completing the various levels of the Pixar Fest Star Path. Do a bunch of tasks and you’ll have a nice stash of Moonstones in no time. There are currently a variety of cosmetic items from Pixar movies like The Incredibles, Coco, Toy Story, and more available on the Premium Star Path for the price of 2,500 Moonstones.

Lastly, the randomly generated blue chests strewn over the valley occasionally contain Moonstones; however, each chest yields just ten Moonstones. In addition, a new section of the game’s store will shortly be added where players can purchase Moonstones apart from the Founder’s Packs.
