Lost Ark just recently dropped their June-July Roadmap, and in it is the announcement of the Vykas Legion Raid that will be coming out some time during June. As this will be a much harder Legion Raid than Valtan, players will have to strengthen up some more to be able to face the challenges that Vykas has in store.
In this guide, we will be talking about what info we know about Vykas so far, how her Legion Raid works, and what are the things to prepare for.
This guide will be a work-in-progress, and we’ll be updating this as we get more helpful details in the future.
How to prepare for Vykas Legion Raid
Here are some of the things to consider before heading out into the Vykas Legion Raid:
Character Gear and iLvl
In order to join the Vykas Legion Raid, you must reach iLvl 1430 for Normal and 1460 for Hard mode. You can join in with seven other random players, or play with your own party of four plus another party of four.
As this is a Legion Raid, players will only be able to have a go at it once per week, so make sure that your character is well equipped before heading to one to not squander your weekly chance.
Party Composition
Having a solid party is essential to clearing Raids, and Vykas is no exemption. As much as possible, you must party up with people who knows how the raid goes when it comes to its numerous mechanics. It’s also important that they know how to communicate and use call-outs. Being in a guild who knows how to run the Legion Raid is an advantage as it will be easier to squad up.
Also, the parties should be well balanced, with at least one support/shielder/healer in each party.
Vykas Legion Raid Walkthrough Guide
The Vykas Legion Raid is split into three phases, with the end of the first and second phase serving as gates or checkpoints. The first phase is a fight against Incubus Morphe, while the second and third phases are a fight against Vykas herself. Each phase’s individual walkthroughs are linked below.
Vykas Legion Raid First Phase (Gate 1)
The parties will be split into two within the first phase, only proceeding to the second phase when both parties have defeated the Incubi. Proper communication between the two parties is required in order to survive the encounter. Any fallen ally after completing these phase will be revived for the next phase.

Vykas Legion Raid Second Phase (Gate 2)
Covetous Vykas will finally appear. She has a x160 health bar and she has to be taken down within 10 minutes, or she will enter her berserk mode. Once her health is depleted, Vykas will enter the third and final stage. Any fallen ally after completing these phase will be revived for the next phase.

Vykas Legion Raid Third Phase (Gate 3)
Vykas will enter her third stage. Her health bar is increased to x180 and she has to be defeated within 14 minutes, or she will enter her berserk mode. In this final phase, she will have different QTE mechanics that will keep the entire party on their toes.
Once her health is down to 1, she’ll gain an immunity shield and a stagger meter. The only way to defeat her in this phase is to exhaust her stagger meter to topple her down. Afterwards, Vykas will be defeated and the Legion Raid rewards will be given.
