Remnant 2: How to get Shaed Stone Ring (Awakened King DLC)

Gunfire Games doesn’t shy away from reusing old tricks when there is a chance to hide loot in plain sight. In this case, I’m talking about the mirror mechanic that was featured in the Council Chamber. Well, the developers are at it again, but this time, they managed to take it up a notch resulting in one of the more clever hiding spots for a ring in Remnant 2.

In this guide, I’ll tell you where you can find the new Shaed Stone Ring in Remnant 2’s The Awakened King DLC as well as what builds are best suited for the kind of support it offers.

Where to Find Shaed Stone Ring in Remnant 2?

If you’re in the one-shot mode for the Awakened King DLC, the Shaed Stone Ring can be found in the Pathway of the Fallen dungeon. Specifically, in the path opposite the direction of the garden maze. The reason why I think this room can appear in different locations is because it gives off the vibe of a seed instance, much the same way the plain ribbon appears in maps that have the garden statues.

At first glance, the rooms on this side of the dungeon appear to be a dead end. But one can’t help but feel that there is something in a room that gives a clear view into the dark world when looking at the floor.

The main draw of this room is the central pillar that also serves as a display shelf for all sorts of shiny objects. To get the ring, you’ll need to look at the floor below and spot one of the artifacts that don’t appear on the shelves above.

As seen in the picture above, I’m looking at this vase object down in the dark world. But when I look up at the shelf in this world, there is nothing but an empty space.

Now that we know that the object is located somewhere on the third-level shelf, aim your weapon of choice in the empty spot where the object should be in relation to its location in the dark world.

Shooting your weapon will cause the Shaed Stone ring to drop in front of the shelf. Pick the ring up to add it to your collection.

The thing you have to keep in mind is that the location of the object in the mirror world can change after starting a new randomized Adventure. But I’m fairly certain the object will appear only on one of the shelves in the central pillar. If you have problems locating the object, you can always spam shots into empty spaces until the ring drops.

    Shaed Ring Details

The Shaed Stone ring is a simple yet effective piece of jewelry when applied to the right builds. The ring increases Skill Damage by 12%. On paper, that doesn’t seem too impressive but considering that it’s a flat-out increase without any strings attached, it might prove useful in general play.

I imagine this ring being used in builds that deal direct damage when the user activates their archetype skill. I’m thinking Gunslinger’s fan-the-hammer or the Challenger’s charge attack. 12% goes a long way on top of the damage bonuses your other items provide.

You probably won’t see this ring on builds that do indirect damage, like summons. Those builds already have their own set of accessories that directly buff a summoned unit’s performance. You also won’t see them on the medic, unless their AoE healing provides a noticeable bump in damage output as well.

Oddly enough, I can’t really find a place for the ring as most of my builds are set in stone. I’ll probably give it another shot if it warrants more attention. Should I find any interesting synergies, I’ll gladly update this article with my new findings.

And that’s everything I’ve got on the new Shaed Stone ring in Remnant 2 The Awakened King DLC. A neat little secret, for sure. I hope this won’t be the last time we see a puzzle like this. Beats having to fight for scraps against powerful Aberrations.
