Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Cursed Wit – Legendary Ward Guide

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Cursed Wit - Legendary Ward Guide

The Cursed Wit is the name of this legendary Ward/Shield in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. A farmable drop, this is something that can be obtained by repeatedly killing a specific boss within the game.

What are Wards in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands?

In Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, wards act as a protective shield. They shield your health bar from any damage that comes your way. Your Ward will break and need to be recharged if your Shield Capacity is depleted. In order to survive, wards are essential because of their magical shielding abilities. In addition, a wide range of extra features are included with them.

Cursed Wit Stats and Effects - Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

Cursed Wit Legendary Ward Stats and Effects

Cursed Wit is a Legendary ward/shield. Pangoblin is the company behind the Cursed Wit. It contains a Flavor text that reads “Kill him! He’s not that important anyways”. The scene in Pirates of the Caribbean where someone (I believe Jack Sparrow) claims that a person being held at gunpoint isn’t important and that they can simply go ahead and kill them might be the inspiration, if I had to guess. There is a chance I’m mistaken, but this is what I’m getting at. With all of this in mind, let’s have a look at what more the Cursed Wit has to offer:

Rarity: Legendary

Manufacturer: Pangoblin

Cursed Wit MOD Summary and Tips

The Cursed Wit increases and decreases your damage depending on your proximity to the enemy. Using a gun with cryo damage whilst farming Ribula will deliver greater damage to Bone targets. With this being a top-tier ward/shield, you can expect a lot of close-quarters battle, so you’ll benefit from the shield’s damage and reduction boosts.

So if you plan on using a close-range setup, this ward is a must-have gear. Obtaining the shield early in the game allows you to keep it for your whole gameplay if desired. However, if you’re planning on using a lot of shield or want to quickly regenerate your shield, we strongly advise against using this.

Keep in mind that getting near to the enemy isn’t necessary to obtain the maximum bonus. It’s really easy to forget about the shield and just go about your day-to-day combat as normal, and the shield’s additional damage will come in from time to time.

How and Where to get Cursed Wit in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

To obtain the Cursed Wit Legendary ward, you’ll need to travel to the Snoring Valley and run all the way to the end of the map. Toward the end, you’ll face Ribula, who might drop the ward if you’re lucky.

In the course of your journey, you’ll come upon a safe station. You’ll respawn at the save station depicted in the screenshot above when you quit and go back in to farm.

The boss is only a short distance away, and the path is straightforward, so there’s no need to worry about getting lost in the details. Jump down and it should spawn Ribula, the very first boss you encounter in the game.

There you have it, a quick overview of Cursed Wit Legendary Ward. If you’re more of a closed range fighter, make sure to farm this item to get that extra bonus damage.
