Xur, Every Guardian’s favorite shady Destiny 2 merchant is back at a new location. Exotic weapons from the archive are available from Xur and he’ll even give you his cipher quest for more if you’d like to get your hands on some new gear. Here’s where to find Xur’s location from May 20 to May 24, 2022.
This is your last chance to stock up on new weaponry for Season of the Risen‘s final boss, Savathun, now that The Witch Queen expansion is moving on to Season 17 next week.
Xur is returning to Destiny 2 this week, and he’ll be setting up shop in a new area with all new merchandise for Guardians to choose from. As of Season of the Lost, he may also sell a number of Legendary goods, which adds a new depth to the mystery trader.
Who is Xur?
Xur is an Agent of the Nine and a vendor in the video game Destiny 2. He accepts Legendary Shards in exchange for Legendary and Exotic items. He only appears on weekends, from 12 p.m. EST on Friday until 12 p.m. EST on Tuesday, and his location varies from week to week.
Guardians get the opportunity to pick up an exotic weapon and some new exotic armor rolls every Friday when Xur returns to Destiny 2 at a new location. He also provides a unique cipher quest that must be completed in order to acquire an older exotic weapon from the Monument to Lost Lights.
The specific steps required to complete the quest might vary, but in general, they include participating in a variety of activities that are found in one of Destiny 2’s three primary playlists: Strikes, Crucible, or Gambit. Grab this and use it as a weapon if you’re desperate for a chance to retrieve an old weapon from the kiosk. It’ll help you take care of business.
This week, Xur will make his return to Destiny 2, and when he does, he will move his shop to a new location and stock it with all new items for players to choose from. In point of fact, ever since the release of Season of the Lost, Xur has gained a new facet thanks to the fact that he may now sell a range of legendary things as well.
He can be found at the following locations: Depending on the planet he visits (European Dead Zone, Titan, IO, or Nessus), he will appear in the public section of that world.
Where is Xur today in Destiny 2? Xur location (May 20 – 24)
On Nessus, you can find Xur lounging about in his usual location, which is high up on the huge tree at the North End of Watcher's Grave.
Last week, you may find Xur in the EDZ, sitting out on a huge cliff looking over the Winding Cove.

From The Witch Queen and Season of the Risen onwards, Xur will sell a random roll of Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale every single week. You will need 125k Glimmer, 200 Legendary Shards, 1 Exotic Cypher, and 1 Ascendant Shard for each one.

This selection brings an entirely new facet to Xur and affords players the opportunity to acquire complete sets of weapons and armor that they may have missed during previous seasons.
Although it has not been verified, it appears that Xur could even end up selling a select offering of Trials weaponry. As a result, you should make sure to check back each week to see what is available for purchase.
