So where are the Ghostwire Tokyo KK Investigation Notes? The game tells the story of how Akito and KK saved the world from certain doom at the hands of a madman. At the very core, it explores the various ways people deal with death and loss. In terms of getting to know our main characters, we get to know very little of Akito besides the fact that he will do anything to save Mari. The same cannot be said about KK, a person who tries hard to distance himself away from others and yet doesn’t hesitate to help those in need.

In total, there are 20 Ghostwire Tokyo KK Investigation notes to collect. 19 of which can be found within the city. The last one can only be found after Chapter 4 and going into the dense fog.

What are KK Investigation Notes in Ghostwire Tokyo?

The KK Investigation Notes are a collection of cases chronicling KK’s time investigating spirit-related incidents. While the stories can be interesting, they only contribute towards increasing Skill Points.

The notes themselves are hidden around the city. Many are located in story-related areas with only a few of them actually hidden away for the player to find. While others can be bought from Nekomata relic collectors for 100,000 Meika each.

How to find the KK Investigation Notes in Ghostwire Tokyo

To find KK Investigation Notes in Ghostwire Tokyo, the first clue to knowing whether or not an investigation note is in the area is to check on the Shrine completion progress. It’ll tell you how many KK Investigation Notes are in the immediate vicinity if there are any.

Next, you’ll want to equip the Sleuth Beads. It casts a green spirit orb going directly to the investigation note the moment you start scanning with Spectral Vision. At level 1, the beads will point you in the direction of KK Investigation Notes 100 meters away. At the maximum level, the range goes as far as 300 meters.
