The Lucky Egg is a special item that can be held by Pokémon so that they can gain more EXP during battles. This item is really helpful when raising low-leveled Pokémon in the team.
In this guide, we will talk about how to get the Lucky Egg in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
How to get the Lucky Egg
To get the Lucky Egg, you need to defeat five (5) Gym leaders first in any order. Then, travel to your next gym and you’ll meet up with your homeroom teacher, Mr. Jacq who will give you the Lucky Egg.
How to use the Lucky Egg
To use the Lucky Egg, open your bag and go into the Other Items pouch to find it. Then select the option to give it to one of your Pokémon.
Once held, the Pokémon holding it will get a bonus 50% on top of the total EXP that it gains through wild encounters or trainer battles; it does not provide any bonus for EXP gained through auto battles.
Keep in mind that the held item has to be taken back first before sending the Pokémon back in the box if you plan on using it for other Pokémon.
