The Phasmophobia Ouija Board is one of the most interesting cursed possessions you can find in the game. It allows you to communicate with ghosts regardless of where they’re located. There are 44 questions in total you can ask the Ouija Board in Phasmophobia. You need to first get your hands on a Ouija Board as it’s a cursed possession that spawns in a location in the level. You won’t get it as a part of your starting equipment.

A Ouija Board spawn isn’t guaranteed so be sure to get the most of every question you can ask once you do find one. Here are all the questions you can ask the Ouija Board in Phasmophobia.
Always remember to say “goodbye” after interacting with the Ouija Board. Make sure to wait for the Ouija Board’s planchette to disappear before moving away. Leaving the Ouija Board before saying goodbye will anger the ghost causing the Ouija Board to break and a Cursed Hunt to start.
Asking questions will cost you a certain amount of sanity. If the person asking questions doesn’t have enough sanity to pay for the question asked, the Ouija Board will break anyway and a Cursed Hunt will begin regardless of “goodbye” being said.
The Ouija Board is still a Cursed Possession and a rather dangerous one at that. Remember to pack some smudge sticks in case you anger the ghost. Also keep in mind that the question “Do you want to play hide and seek?” is dangerous since this will break the Ouija Board and start a Cursed Hunt after five seconds.

What are the Best Questions to Ask a Ouija Board in Phasmophobia?
- “What’s your favorite room?”
- Helps give a rough idea of where the Ghost Room is, but can be punishing with the 40% sanity drain. Best used early in the level.
- “Do you respond to everyone?”
- Really useful in Nightmare difficulty where you can’t tell if the ghost is shy or if it isn’t affected by the Spirit Box.
- “What is my sanity?”
- Very useful in Nightmare difficulty where the sanity counter in the van is broken. Ghost will respond based on your sanity meter.
- “Where is the bone?”
- Helps you locate where the bone in the level is.
Will a Shy Ghost Not Respond to the Ouija Board?
A shy Ghost will respond to a Ouija Board no matter what. Even if the ghost doesn’t respond to Spirit Boxes, they will interact with the Ouija Board.
The Ghost Isn’t Responding to My Questions. Am I Doing Something Wrong?
Ensure that your language is set to English in the Phasmophobia settings or your spoken dialect. Don’t pronounce the name of the ghost and just ask the question which will make it easier for the game to recognize what you’re trying to say.
