Pokémon Legends: Arceus Snowpoint Temple Puzzle Solutions Guide

A guide on how to open all the doors within the Snowpoint Temple.

snowpoint temple

Puzzles at Snowpoint Temple are covered in this Pokémon Legends: Arceus Snowpoint Temple guide, which you’ll be tackling in the main quest, The Slumbering Lord of the Tundra. You’ll also find all of the answers to the temple’s puzzles here.

At one point of your journey, you will have to visit the Snowpoint Temple to meet up with Warden Sabi and learn how to summon Braviary. But going through the temple isn’t as easy as just “going through” the temple as there are puzzles that you have to solve first. In this guide, we’re going to make it easy for you and show how to solve the Snowpoint Temple puzzles.

How to Solve Snowpoint Temple Puzzles

Upon entering Snowpoint Temple, you will see statues lined up in rows. These statues look similar to the Regis from the previous games and they are holding tablets that show different symbols.

These symbols represent the Rock, Steel, and Ice types similar to the first three Regis that were introduced in the previous games. Take note of these symbols as they will be important at solving the puzzles.

Climbing up the first flight of stairs inside the Snowpoint Temple, you’ll see some of these statues once more, but this time they are scattered within a room designed like a maze. They’re also facing in different directions this time, and this serves as a clue on the puzzle’s solution.

At the end of the room is a door showing these three symbols. Upon interacting with this door, you’ll then be asked to push the buttons in order. The order begins from the statue that doesn’t have any other statue facing at it, and then it continues to the statue that it faces at, up until the very last statue that faces directly at the door itself.

Lucky for you, we already have the solution in here for every floor. If you wish to solve the puzzles yourself, just note that there are three floors, with each floor having more statues than the previous one. On the third floor, we recommend to work backwards, making sure to find the beginning statue first as some of their lines of sight cross with each other.

Snowpoint Temple First Floor Solution

  • Rock > Steel > Ice

Snowpoint Temple Second Floor Solution

  • Ice > Rock > Steel > Rock > Ice

Snowpoint Temple Third Floor Solution

  • Steel > Ice > Rock > Ice > Steel > Rock

Once these doors are solved, you’ll then have access to the top floor of the temple where you’ll meet Sabi and Braviary.

How to Open the Big Locked Door in the Snowpoint Temple

There is another locked door inside the temple which is located at the lower ground floor, taking the stairs that goes downwards from the main hall. Behind this door is another section that leads to one of the legendary Pokémon in the game, Regigigas.

However, one of the items needed to unlock this door can only be obtained from a quest that will be given once you finish the entire main story quest.

If you have finished the main story and have gone through the end credits, head back to the Galaxy Hall and talk to Captain Cyllene. She’ll talk about your Pokedex’s progress, which would still be incomplete by this point.

Asking her about these Pokémon will unlock several quests, but the two quests that are important to unlock this door are The Plate of Firespit Island and The Plate of Snowpoint Temple. Complete The Plate of Firespit Island first where you’ll have to either defeat or catch Heatran within the volcano’s cave. Doing so will reward you with the Iron Plate.

Head back to the big door inside the Snowpoint Temple and interact with it. It will then ask you for these three plates: Stone Plate, Iron Plate, and Icicle Plate. At this point of the game, you should already have the Stone Plate and Icicle Plate from the Alpha Vespiquen (post-game, part of The Researcher of Myths quest) and from the frenzied Avalugg.
