Players are looking for the Sonic Origins PC specs and file size. This remastered compilation of Sonic fan favorite games from SEGA has many wanting to try it out for themselves. Let’s talk about the Sonic Origins PC specs and file size to see if your PC can run it.

What is the Sonic Origins File Size?

Sonic Origins file size is 3.6 GB overall. Players can download this remastered compilation without taking too much room on their hard disk drive space. Or SDD if they really prefer to go fast.

It’s doubtful that players will notice the difference between HDD and SDD for Sonic Origins as this remaster of classic Sonic games should load pretty fast on most PCs. If you’re still concerned how this game will run for you, keep reading for the Sonic Origins PC specs.

What are the Sonic Origins PC Specs?

Here are the Sonic Origins PC specs:

    Sonic Origins Minimum Specs

    • OS: Windows 10
    • Processor: Intel Core i5-2400 (3.1 GHz) or AMD FX-8350 (4.2 GHz)
    • Memory: 6 GB RAM
    • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 (2 GB) or AMD Radeon HD 7790 (2 GB)

The minimum spec requirements for Sonic Origins are good enough to run Sonic Origins at 60 FPS so long as you’re running the game on 720p. If you want a truly smooth experience for older hardware, then we’d recommend tweaking the settings a bit to see what works for you.

    Sonic Origins Recommended Specs

    • OS: Windows 10
    • Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 1300X (3.4 GHz) or Intel Core i5-4570 (3.2 GHz)
    • Memory: 8 GB RAM
    • Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 280 (3 GB) or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 (2 GB)

The recommended specs for Sonic Origins can run the game optimally above 60 FPS at 1080p so you’ll have a much smoother experience. The recommended specs aren’t too high so you won’t be needing something as expensive as an RXT 3080 to run it. Sonic Origins is just a remaster of older Sonic games so your PC should have no trouble handling the game at all.

That’s the Sonic Origins PC specs and file size. We have no doubt that most players will be able to run the game smoothly as the Sonic Origins PC specs aren’t that heavy at all. Still, it’s always safer to double check before you wind up buying a game your hardware just can handle.
