It’s an understatement to say that the MultiVersus characters are a diverse bunch. From superhero icons like the Batman to wacky cartoons like Bugs Bunny, this game gives them an arena to duke it all out. Even the fan made meme about Ultra Instinct Shaggy has joined the roster.

Here’s a list of all the characters you can play as in MultiVersus:

    • Arya Stark
    • Batman
    • Bugs Bunny
    • Finn
    • Garnet
    • Harley Quinn
    • The Iron Giant
    • Jake
    • Reindog
    • Shaggy
    • Steven Universe
    • Superman
    • Taz
    • Tom and Jerry
    • Velma
    • Wonder Woman

There are a total of 16 playable characters in MultiVersus. There are still more upcoming characters that have been confirmed to be coming by WB Games. So this MultiVersus character list can still expand.

The only real free-to-play character is Wonder Woman with everyone else only free during free rotations. During free rotation period, specific characters will be unlocked to play for free without having to purchase them. Most of them really require you to spend in-game currency but some like Wonder Woman have specific methods to unlock. Keep reading to learn what you need to unlock the MultiVersus characters.

    MultiVersus Character Arya Stark

    Arya Stark

Despite being born into nobility, Arya Stark had no interest in learning proper decorum of being a lady. After her father was murdered and her family stripped of their title, she journeyed across Westeros where she learned to become a master swordswoman and assassin. Her deadly swordsmanship is enough to deal with the crafty and diverse foes of the MultiVersus.

How to Unlock Arya Stark: Purchase with 3,000 Gold, 700 Glemium, or 1 Character Ticket.

    MultiVersus Character Batman

    Batman

After his parents were tragically killed in an alley, Bruce Wayne forever had the haunted memory etched into his mind. Becoming the Batman, he roams the streets of Gotham fighting crime with his gadgets and detective intuition. This caped crusader has many gadgets under his belt to take on even the mightiest foes in MultiVersus.

How to Unlock Batman: Purchase with 2,000 Gold, 700 Glemium, or 1 Character Ticket.

    MultiVersus Character Bugs Bunny

    Bugs Bunny

The icon of Loony Tunes himself, the Bugs Bunny, has made his way into the MultiVersus arena. With his trickster methods, he can manipulate the field into his own personal playground. This cartoon legend is not a foe to reckon with in the game.

How to Unlock Bugs Bunny: Purchase with 2,000 Gold, 700 Glemium, or 1 Character Ticket.

Read our How to Play Bugs Bunny MultiVersus guide.

    MultiVersus Character Finn

How to Unlock Finn: Purchase with 2,000 Gold, 700 Glemium, or 1 Character Ticket.

    MultiVersus Character Garnet

    Garnet

Garnet is the leader of the Crystal Gems who have sworn to protect Earth from extraterrestrial invaders. This seemingly solitary fighter is actually two gems that are fused together. Garnet will fight for those who are in her care and take on any challenger in the MultiVersus.

How to Unlock Garnet: Purchase with 1,500 Gold, 700 Glemium, or 1 Character Ticket.

    MultiVersus Character Harley Quinn

    Harley Quinn

Harleen Quinzel is an established psychiatrist in Gotham until she fell for the Joker. Reimagining herself as Harley Quinn, she assisted in many of his crime sprees until she eventually became disillusioned with him and left. Now she participates in the MultiVersus ready to step out of his shadow.

How to Unlock Harley Quinn: Purchase with 2,000 Gold, 700 Glemium, or 1 Character Ticket.

    MultiVersus Character The Iron Giant

    The Iron Giant

A war machine of a mysterious extraterrestrial nature, The Iron Giant has more than enough weapons to put any Cold War era country to shame. Lucky for us here on Earth, he has the heart of Superman and doesn’t wish to harm anyone. Now players can experience his destructive force on MultiVersus.

How to Unlock The Iron Giant: Purchase with 3,000 Gold, 700 Glemium, or 1 Character Ticket.

    MultiVersus Character Jake

    Jake

How to Unlock Jake: Purchase with 2,000 Gold, 700 Glemium, or 1 Character Ticket.

    MultiVersus Character Reindog

    Reindog

Reindog is a completely original character not native to any of the known universes that have clashed in MultiVersus. This 165 year old creature is a survivor of a dimensional cataclysm. Although Reindog looks like a cuddly creature, he is a warrior at heart who will fight even against Kryptonians.

How to Unlock Reindog: Purchase with 2,000 Gold, 700 Glemium, or 1 Character Ticket.

    MultiVersus Character Shaggy

    Shaggy

Shaggy going up against Superman seems like something out of a fever dream, but it’s true. Ultra Instinct Shaggy graces the weaklings of MultiVersus with his limitless power that could put the World’s Greatest Detective down. This powerhouse but humble sandwich loving mystery solver proves his larger-than-life status by competing with other universes.

Read our How to Play Ultra Instinct Shaggy MultiVersus guide.

How to Unlock Shaggy: Purchase with 1,500 Gold, 700 Glemium, or 1 Character Ticket.

    MultiVersus Character Steven Universe

    Steven Universe

How to Unlock Steven Universe: Purchase with 3,000 Gold, 700 Glemium, or 1 Character Ticket.

    MultiVersus Character Superman

How to Unlock Superman: Purchase with 2,000 Gold, 700 Glemium, or 1 Character Ticket.

    MultiVersus Character Taz

    Taz

Taz, more accurately known as Tasmanian Devil, is a chaotic force in Looney Tunes which has done well to make him popular. His destructive habits have earned him a spot in the MultiVersus character roster. This aggressive cartoon toon is one of the best brawlers in the game.

Read our How to Play Taz MultiVersus guide.

How to Unlock Taz: Purchase with 1,500 Gold, 700 Glemium, or 1 Character Ticket.

    MultiVersus Character Tom and Jerry

    Tom and Jerry

It’s rare to see Tom and Jerry working together instead of against, but these two rival have set aside their differences (sort of?) to fight against titans of the MultiVersus. This cat and mouse duo can surprisingly be creative in ways to combat foes in the game.

How to Unlock Tom and Jerry: Purchase with 3,000 Gold, 700 Glemium, or 1 Character Ticket.

    MultiVersus Character Velma

    Velma

Velma was always the smart one of the Scooby gang. This snarky teen proves that her brain is more than enough match for muscle in the MultiVersus as she fights foes way above her weight class.

How to Unlock Velma: Purchase with 2,000 Gold, 700 Glemium, or 1 Character Ticket.

    MultiVersus Character Wonder Woman

    Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman has been a long icon of feminine power. A proven Amazon warrior, Diana Prince has been one of the best heroes of the Justice League. Her prowess combined with superhuman abilities have given her the power to trump over any foe.

How to Unlock Wonder Woman: Can be unlocked after finishing the tutorial.

Those are all the Multiverses characters. This roster is sure to grow as WB Games adds more to the list which have already been confirmed. Some characters are already unlocked, but you do have to grind for Gold in order to purchase characters that you want. In the case of Wonder Woman, just complete the tutorial.
