Athra Surges are special abilities that Sargon can obtain in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. These abilities can help Sargon stay on top of a fight and deal with enemies much easier. Read ahead as we share the steps on how to obtain all of the Athra Surges in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
All Athra Surges:
Sargon can equip two Athra Surges through a Wak-Wak Tree. Once unlocked, they can be swapped in any of the surge slots. Each surge ability belongs to a certain level which denotes the amount of Athra Meter needed to perform the ability.
Obtaining all 10 Athra Surges and using each of them at least once will unlock the Warrior Within Achievement.
Verethragna’s Smite
Verethragna’s Smite makes Sargon rush through enemies and pierce through their defenses. This is a level 1 ability that can be obtained during the Prologue.
Shahbaz’ Spirit
Shahbaz’ Spirit releases a powerful wave of Athra that can deal damage and push enemies back. This is a level 1 ability that can be obtained after fighting the Alternate Sargon in the Sacred Archives in Chapter 2.
Wind of Sistan
Wind of Sistan creates a swirling wave around Sargon that damages and cripples enemies that are caught in it. This is a level 1 ability that can be obtained in a revisit to the Depths past Chapter 3.
Vayu’s Wave
Vayu’s Wave releases a powerful wave of Athra from Sargon’s swords. This is a level 1 ability that can be obtained after completing all of Artaban’s basic challenges in Chapter 1.
Bahman’s Breath
Bahman’s Breath creates an explosion and a healing zone that gradually regains health while standing in it. Arguably one of the best surges to use for survivability. This is a level 2 ability that can be obtained after speaking to Kamil in the Hyrcanian Forest in Chapter 1.
Arash’s Ray
Arash’s Ray fires out a powerful beam that can pierce through enemies. This is a level 2 ability that can be obtained after defeating the Alternate Sargon in the Depths in Chapter 3.
Hadhayan’s Might
Hadhayan’s Might allows Sargon to teleport over enemies and crush them to the ground; useful for closing the gap against mobile enemies. This is a level 2 ability that can be obtained after defeating the Alternate Sargons in the Hyrcanian Forest in Chapter 4.
Soul of Gilgamesh
Soul of Gilgamesh increases Sargon’s strength and speed by channeling Athra for a few moments, plus it also unlocks new attack combos. This is a level 3 ability that can be obtained after defeating the Alternate Sargon in the Pit of Eternal Sands in Chapter 5.
Bahamut’s Rage
Bahamut’s Rage unleashes a large whirlwind attack that flings enemies into the air and smashes them back to the ground. This is a level 3 ability that can be obtained after defeating Orod in Chapter 6.
Rashnu’s Judgment
Rashnu’s Judgment puts Sargon in a stance which allows him to pull a counterattack with the right timing. This is a level 3 ability that can be obtained after defeating Menolias in Chapter 6.
