The voice logs in Ghostwire Tokyo are all about giving you the full picture behind the events and stories that took place in the game. Scattered throughout the city by Ed and a certain scientist, these voice logs further build the world of Ghostwire Tokyo.
What are Voice Logs in Ghostwire Tokyo?
Ghostwire Tokyo voice logs contain the records of the people involved in the incident leading up to the start of the game. They come in the form of recorders and laptops. Some of these are left behind by Ed wherein he discusses different aspects of spirit hunting. Others are recordings left behind by a certain scientist and his various findings.
There are 17 Ghostwire voice log locations found within the city. 16 can be found in the first four chapters. The 17th and final one can only be found after Akito has forced his way through the dense fog towards Tokyo Tower.
Acquired logs can be reviewed and replayed at any time via Database Menu.

Ghostwire Tokyo All Voice Log Locations
Voice Log 1 – I Just Wanted to Say “Plan B”
Located in Akisawa Shrine Area. The I Just Wanted to Say “Plan B” voice log can be found in the first special payphone where the player is introduced to the Spirit Transmission Device. This one is hard to miss.
Description: A recording left behind by Ed, wherein he discusses the Spirit Transmission Device.
Voice Log 2 – Have You Seen Any Visitors?
Located in Namita Shrine Area. The Have You Seen Any Visitors? voice log can be found in the payphone outside of KK’s safe house.
Description: A recording left behind by Ed wherein he discusses Visitors.
Voice Log 3 – Yokai Are All Around Us
Located in Yashin Shrine Area. The Yokai Are All Around Us voice log can be found in the payphone near the Yashin Shrine.
Description: A recording left behind by Ed, wherein he discusses yokai.
Voice Log 4 – On the Use of Meika
Located in Namita Shrine Area. The On the Use of Meika voice log can be found in the payphone near the Namita Shrine.
Description: A recording left behind by Ed, wherein he discusses Meika.

Located in Utagawa Shopping District Torii Gate Area. A Flavor Worth Dying For? voice log can be found in the payphone south of the Utagawa Shipping District Torii Gate.
Description: A recording left behind by Ed, wherein he discusses spectral food.
Voice Log 6 – The Affinity
Located in Noto Shrine Area. The Affinity voice log can found in the payphone just west of the Noto Shrine.
Description: A recording left behind by Ed, wherein he discusses ether affinity.
Voice Log 7 – The Fluidity of Spirits
Located in Morite Shrine Area. The Fluidity of Spirits voice log can be found on the payphone at the very north of Morite Shrine
Description: A recording left behind by Ed, wherein he discusses crystallized ether.
Voice Log 8 – City of Corruption
Located in Onten Shrine Area. The City of Corruption voice log can be found at the most eastern part of the Onten Shrine.
Description: A recording left behind by Ed, wherein he discusses corruption.
Voice Log 9 – The Man Called Dale
Located in Yamaki Shrine Area. The Man Called Dale voice log can be found in the payphone in the most southwestern part of the Yamaki Shrine.
Description: A recording left behind by Ed, wherein he discusses Dale.

Located in Morite Shrine Area. The Blood and Succession voice log can be found on the sidewalk of the 429 during the ‘After the End’ side mission.

Located in Akisawa Shrine Area. The Difficulty with Human Beings voice log can be found on the roof of the Shibuya Central Hospital during the ‘After the End II’ side mission.

Located in Onten Shrine Area. The In the Midst of Battle voice log can be found in the car park during the ‘Blindness’ Story Mission.
Description: A recording left behind by Ed. It seems that the device just happened to be recording when he dropped it.

Located in Namita Shrine Area. The File 088 voice log can be found on the ledge of a building near the Namita Shrine.
Description: A recording left behind by a certain scientist discussing family and cats.

Located in Shibuya Underground Area. The File 178 voice log can be found in the underground complex well past the Shibuya underground station during the ‘The Buried Life’ Main Story Mission.

Located in Matsumi Shrine Area. The File 299 voice log can be found at the Matsumi Shrine.

Located in Shiratsuki Shrine Area. The File 329 voice log can be found at the Shiratsuki Shrine.

Located in Shibuya Underground Area. The File 999 voice log can be found on the way to Tokyo Tower the moment Akito arrives in the area.

Ghostwire Tokyo Voice Logs Rewards
The reward for getting all 17 Ghostwire Tokyo voice logs is ‘The Whole Truth‘ trophy and achievement. However, apart from getting to see the whole picture, there are no gameplay rewards for collecting all the logs.
