Sour Snow Cones are one of the dessert dishes that players can make in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This 3-Star treat is so simple to make with just a few ingredients, but one of these ingredients has to be unlocked through a quest.

Sour Snow Cones Recipe

To make Sour Snow Cones, prepare these ingredients:

  • Slush Ice – can be purchased from Chez Remy for 150 coins; unlocked during The Unknown Flavor quest
  • Lemon – can be foraged from the Forest of Valor
  • Sugarcane – can be farmed or obtained from Dazzle Beach
  • Coal

Once you have gathered all the ingredients, follow these next steps:

  1. Head over to a cooking station and use it.
  2. Select the Lemon from the Fruits category.
  3. Select the Sugarcane from the Sweets category.
  4. Choose the Start Cooking button to complete the dish.

After cooking the dish for the first time, you can make it quickly by going to the Recipes menu in a cooking station, under the Desserts category.

Sour Snow Cones can be sold for 282 coins or it can be consumed to regain 1257 energy.

How to complete The Unknown Flavor quest

After reaching friendship level 10 with Remy, talk to him to start the quest. Then, follow these steps to complete the quest:

  1. Ask Merlin for help
  2. Find Merlin’s notes in his House
  3. Gather 3 Purified Night Shard for the recipe
  4. Find someone to turn the Purified Night Shard into powder
    • Go talk to WALL-E to get the shards crushed
  5. Complete the recipe for Ice Slush and craft it
    • x15 Snowballs
    • Purified Night Shard Powder
  6. Bring Remy the Ice Slush
  7. Prepare a bowl of Vanilla Ice Cream

After completing the quest, you will then be able to purchase Slush Ice from the pantry.
