In our last playthrough with Emem, we decided to not follow through with the Prince’s plans to use the Anarchs as a distraction and instead infiltrate the base solo.
Check the rest of this guide to know which points to invest in before starting the level. And remember, just cause there is a solution that saves you Willpower in the end, it doesn’t mean it’s the best solution. You WANT to use your Willpower to improve your mastery of talents.
And with that out of the way, let’s start the level.
The easiest way to progress through the docks is to use Celerity clear large gaps until you reach the roof of the dock’s office. From there you can stop the fan and advance to the next part of the level.
If you don’t want to use accumulate Hunger, you can take the side corridors to reach the docks. But it’ll require you to have at least Security(2) in order to advance.
At the end of the second hallway, you’ll come across a door with an electronic lock. If you used Auspex on the logbook on top of the workbench, you’ll know that someone left a note to look at the ceiling for the code. And lo and behold, there’s a fan there with a 4-digit code on it.
Enter 0158 to open the electronic lock.
Work your way through the vents until you see a white door leading to the offices.
If you had convinced the Anarchs to attack the base, they’ll be slowly making their way deeper inside the facility. But since we’ve chosen to leave them out of it, the only ones below us are SAD troops.
Once you’re in one of the offices, you find out that the virus isn’t working. Talking to one of the agents has revealed that in order for the virus to work, we need to take the Intelligence elevator all the way down to the bottom level and inject the virus directly into the server room.
After talking to him, you can choose to let him leave in exchange for his silence, or kill him to tie up loose ends. Either way, you won’t be seeing him again.
Look towards the ceiling in the other room in order to progress.
From here, you can choose to end the level by going down another vent. Or you can spend some Hunger in order to get another clue about the Traitor.
More Clues on the Traitor
To get to that information, you’ll need to use Celerity to go to a higher vent and another use to quickly go past a broken fan. While looking down on some documents, you can use Auspex to better see what’s written on the papers. The paper closer to the bottom of the desk, reveals that they’ve captured someone who claimed to be their informant. This clue is worth some experience points.
