How to Start The Pigeon Provides Event Quest in Destiny 2
To start The Pigeon Provides in Destiny 2, you’ll have to speak with Eva Levante who resides in The Tower where many of the vendors of the game are also located.
You can find Eva near where Commander Zavala is overlooking the city on the balcony. She will also give you the Rite of Dawning event quest which has some pretty awesome rewards, though you should know how to farm for Null Taste before that.
How to Complete The Pigeon Provides Event Quest in Dawning 2021
Before you can proceed with the steps in The Pigeon Provides, you must have first completed The Lost Splicer event quest which is also only available during the Dawning event.
After you’ve completed the above, Eva will send you to Saint-14. You could swear there is some bitterness in her voice for no longer being considered the kindest person in The Tower. Still, she asks you to help Saint-14 out with his plans for the Dawning holiday season.
To Complete The Pigeon Provides Event Quest in Dawning 2021 for Destiny 2 you have to do the following:
- Speak to Saint-14
- Collect The Recipe in Eventide Ruins
- Gather Ingredients for the Swaddled Etherdips recipe.
- Get 15 Dawning Spirit
- Collect 5 Etheric Spiral
- Collect 5 Etheric Spiral
- Talk to Saint-14 and then Deliver the Swaddled Etherdips
- Approach Saint-14 For the Last Time
- Talk to Eva Levante
Speak to Saint-14
Once you’ve taken the quest from Eva and have completed The Lost Splicer quest, you can go to Saint-14 who you can find in the Tower Hanger.
Saint-14 will muse about the Eliksni newcomers and how he’s a bit scared that they might feel unwelcome in The Tower. So he will task you to get some exotic Eliksni delights to smoothen the relations.
Your first task, is to locate data to find out what exactly these delights are.
Collect The Recipe in Eventide Ruins
You’re going to have to go to Europa and travel to the Eliksni Ruins. Feel free to use the area’s spawn point to make it more convenient for yourself. The recipe for the Eliksni delights are just below the cliff behind your spawn point. Follow your marker after descending down and you’ll find it.
Gather the data and you’ll find that you’re looking for three specific ingredients for the Swaddled Etherdips recipe.

To make Swaddled Etherdips, you’re going to need three Pure Ether Extracts, ten Harpy Eggs, and five Glacial Starwort. A bit excessive for a single recipe but the Eliksni do have strange tastes. No need for us to judge.
To get 3 Pure Ether Extracts, you can find them in boss cache chests at the end of Lost Sectors inside Europa.
Getting the 10 Harpy Eggs is straightforward. You just have to defeat Vex Harpies until they drop them. You can normally find these enemy types hanging around Lost Sectors in the Asterion Abyss.
You can collect the 5 Glacial Starwort by exploring and picking them up inside small containers around Europa. They’re planetary material that can be found inside glowing boxes.
If you want to get the ingredients up above fast, you can tackle The Perdition Lost Sector which you’ll find in Cadmus Ridge. You should get them after a few runs relatively quickly.
Get 15 Dawning Spirit
Up next, you’re going to collect at least 15 Dawning Spirit to be able to purchase the Kellsdough from Spider.
Do collect Dawning Spirits, you can deliver Dawning Gifts and complete Dawning Triumphs. You’ll be able to generate even more Dawning Spirits if you consume the Boon of Friendship which you can acquire from Eva. Make sure to also equip the Starfarer 7M ship to speed up the process.
The fastest way to earn Dawning Spirits it through completing the bounties Eva gives you. Collect 5 Etheric Spiral
You’ll have to collect at least 5 Etheric Spiral which you can find around the Tangled Shore. They’re these strange orange plants growing all over the area which should be easy to spot.
Once you’ve collected them, talk to the Spider to purchase the Kellsdough from him. When you’ve done this, go back to the Tower. The Pigeon Provides event quest is nearing its end.
Talk to Saint-14 and then Deliver the Swaddled Etherdips
Head back to the Tower and speak with Saint-14. He’ll be happy to know that you’ve collected all the materials necessary for the Swaddled Etherdips. Saint-14 will give you the Polycarbon Powder legendary shader for your efforts.
Now it’s time to share the holiday spirits. Head to the Eliksni quarters in the Lost City. You’ll be handing out the Swaddled Etherdips to its residents. Don’t let their scary looks fool you. I’m sure they’re grateful.
Approach Saint-14 For the Last Time
It is time to close this quest. Return to The Tower and speak with Sain-14 for the last time. He thanks you for your efforts and hopes that the Eliksni will one day no longer see him as the monster he once was.
Talk to Eva Levante
To finish The Pigeon Provides event quest, head to Eva and tell her what happened. She’ll be very happy to learn the assistance you’ve provided Saint-14. And for your efforts, she gives you the Zephyr Sword as the final reward for this event quest.
Now you’ve successfully completed The Pigeon Provides and have your shiny new Zephyr Sword, which isn’t a weapon to scoff at.

The Zephyr Sword is a legendary sword rewarded to you upon the completion of The Pigeon Provides event quest. You can only get this sword during the Dawning event so you’d best take the opportunity.
- Adaptive Frame – Heavy attacks launch a heavy uppercut forward. Heavy attacks will also be stronger with full energy.
- Whirlwind Blade – Striking rapidly with the Zephyr Sword increase its attacks momentarily. Blocking ends the effect.
