God of War Ragnarok – All Treasure Map Locations and How To Decode Them

Treasure maps and treasure map locations aren’t new ideas in God of War: Ragnarok. They are also present in the 2018 game albeit more cryptic. The treasure maps in God of War Ragnarok are a little more straightforward but you’ll still need to remember a couple of landmarks here and there.

In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know about Treasure maps, where you can find them, and where their loot is buried. Lower the sails. We have treasure to find.

God of War Ragnarok Treasure Maps and Treasure Map Locations

Vulture’s Gold

  • First Accessible after Tyr has left the party to go back to the Treehouse at the conclusion of Groa’s Secret quest. It is found right at the exit of the exploded where you can search for the wounded beast.
  • In the mouth of the giant skeleton Northeast of the Barrens. Hard to miss.

Rewards:

  • Lethal Detonation accessory
  • Shattered Rune
  • Stonewood
  • Dwarven Steel
  • Honed Metal

Under the Rainbow

  • Found on the ground near the entrance to the structure Freya wants to enter to the left of the Noatun’s Garden dock.
  • Found at the top of the Goddess Falls after crossing the first waterfall. Hard to miss.

  • Shattered Rune
  • Stonewood
  • Dwarven Steel
  • Honed Metal
  • Niflheim’s Virtue amulet enchantment

The Giant’s Toes

  • Found on the ground in front of the corpse in a small nook on the right side of the entrance of the Vanir Shrine. Look for the roots of the tree by a short stone wall.
  • This treasure stash can be found by the roots of the giant tree behind the Mystic Gateway, right beside where the Dwarves have set up their workshop.

  • Honed Metal
  • Vanaheim’s Power Amulet Enchantment

Viking’s Gift

  • The treasure map is found on the ground within the Raider Fort West of Tyr’s temple.
  • The treasure stash can be found at the foot of the giant doors Northeast of Tyr’s temple. Right next to the Raider Hideout.

  • Midgard’s Justice Amulet Enchantment
  • Shattered Rune
  • Stonewood
  • Dwarven Steel
  • Honed Metal

Fruits of Industry

  • Found on the ground at the destroyed observation deck at the end of Alberich Hollow right of the rope leading to the Bay of Bounty.
  • The treasure stash can be found on Modvitnir’s Rig. South of the Bay of Bounty. You’ll most likely have to fight a Bergsra first before you can interact with it.

  • Svartalfheim’s Lifeblood

  • Luminous Alloy
  • Asgardian Ingot
  • Shattered Rune

Washed Ashore

  • This treasure map can be found on Lyngbakr Island in an area only accessible after obtaining the Draupnir Spear. To get to it, you’ll need to first go to Alberich Island and then make your way to it after solving a puzzle or two. On the way to the next part of the Lost Treasure Favor.
  • The treasure stash can be found on Dragon Beach right beside the skeleton of the dragon.

Mining Glory

  • This treasure map can be found in a corner part of Nidavellir with the fire pit covered with green stones. To get to it, you’ll first need to get the Draupnir Spear and create a bar that’ll get you access to its high ground. It is on the ground.
  • The treasure stash can be found within the Applecore past the initial area where both father and son entered in via boat.

  • Muspelheim’s Blessing

  • Luminous Alloy
  • Asgardian Ingot
  • Shattered Rune

Demise of Dagestr

  • This treasure map can be found at the passageway out of the Applecore and into the Swerd Sands. To get to it, you’ll need to use the Draupnir Spear to create a path to the high ground. It is on the ground beside the corpse of a dwarf woman. You’ll need to defeat the two elemental witches first.
  • The treasure stash can be found under the corpse of Baldur’s dragon in the lake of the Nine back in Midgard. To access the place where both are, you’ll need to go to the gate nearest to the Raider Fort. There, you will see a weak point. Use the spear to break it and you’ll find the entrance to the area.

Forgotten Tower

  • This treasure map can be found on the shelf at the back of the Light Elves’ library within the Elven Sanctum. Easy enough to find amongst the legendary chests.
  • The treasure stash can be found in front of a collapsed passageway next to the doors of the Forgotten Tower North of the Forbidden Sands region.

  • Shattered Rune
  • Stonewood
  • Dwarven Steel
  • Honed Metal

A Scar is Born

  • This treasure map can be found on the island that is accessible after opening the dam and allowing the waters to follow into the Plains region of Vanaheim. There is a also portal present if you fancy a challenge before picking up the map.
  • The treasure stash is located inside a donut-shaped looking cave South of the Eastern Celelestial Altar. If you head directly south where Brok is working from, you’re bound to have a run-in with the cave.
