The Ghost Type is among the 18 different types found in the Pokémon series. They use skills that are literally haunting opponents’ Pokémon and are mostly talked about, especially in Scarlet and Violet. Read on for a more in-depth look on what a Ghost Type Pokémon is, including its abilities, strengths, weaknesses, and more.
What is a Ghost Type Pokémon?
The Ghost Type Pokémon are the only type to have more than one immunity. They are strong against other Ghosts and Psychic-Type Pokémon. They can easily resist Bug and Poison-Type moves but are weak against Dark-type moves. They are immune from Normal and Fighting-Type Moves and in Pokémon Contests, most Ghost-type moves are typically Clever moves, but some may be any of the other Contest conditions.
