Every Vampire in The Masquerade Bloodhunt may be broken down into 7 distinct Archetypes:
Every Archetype in Vampire Bloodhunt has specific Archetype ability, a Passive ability, and a Clan ability. In Vampire Bloodhunt, only the Clan ability is shared by all Archetypes of the same Clan, everything else is different.
Vandal
The “Reckless Brawler.” The Vandal’s fist is a conduit for immense strength, allowing them to engage in close-quarters combat while maintaining their durability and crushing force levels.
Clan: Brujah
Combat Role: Sustained Damage Attacks
Vandal Powers/Skills
Archetype Power:
- Earth Shock – Leap forward and slam into the ground, delivering damage and launching opponents into the air.
Passive Power:
- Adrenaline Rush – When you’re in close quarters with an enemy, you’ll gain some protection from damage.
Clan Power:
- Soaring Leap – Perform a strong forward leap.
Brute
The “Frontline Defenders.” Brutes come to the aid of their allies while simultaneously fending off their adversaries’ assaults.
Clan: Brujah
Combat Role: Sustained Damage Attacks
Brute Powers/Skills
Archetype Power:
- Shockwave Punch – Unleash a Shockwave capable of deflecting bullets.
Passive Power:
- True Grit – During non-combat, the Brute can regenerate up to half their health.
Clan Power:
- Soaring Leap – Perform a strong forward leap.
Muse
The “Rejuvenating Presence.” If any of the allies falter, the Muse rushes to their aid and inspires them to return to the struggle with their enchanting song.
Clan: Toreador
Combat Role: Support
Muse Powers/Skills
Archetype Power:
- Rejuvenating Voice – You and nearby allies will be healed while this ability is channeled. The healing state is disrupted if damage is taken or power is used while channeling.
Passive Power:
- Final Act – Cooldowns will instantly reset and you will be able to use your powers while you are downed.
Clan Power:
- Projection Dash – Send out a projection of yourself, which you can dash to.
Siren
The “Stunning Beauty.” Sirens are constantly on the lookout for new opportunities to blind their adversaries with the sight of their beauty.
Clan: Toreador
Combat Role: Support
Siren Powers/Skills
Archetype Power:
- Blinding Beauty – Slowly erupt into pure beauty, blinding and damaging all nearby enemies.
Passive Power:
- Kindred Charm – For a brief period, nearby bystanders are captivated and become friendly toward you and your squad.
Clan Power:
- Projection Dash – Send out a projection of yourself, which you can dash to.
Prowler
The “Relentless Hunter.” Since the Prowler has mastered both the creatures of nature and the Beast within himself, she has gained unrivaled skills to track and reveal his enemies’ locations.
Clan: Nosferatu
Combat Role: Massive Damage Attacks
Prowler Powers/Skills
Archetype Power:
- Scouting Famulus – Send bats to investigate an area, allowing you to see past walls and locate enemies.
Passive Power:
- Sense the Beast – Enemies who have been severely wounded leave a trail that can be followed to determine their most recent whereabouts.
Clan Power:
- Vanish – Become invisible and move rapidly for a brief period.
Saboteur
The “Stealthy Trapper.” Using protective contraptions to punish foes who are careless, the Saboteur moves through the shadows.
Clan: Nosferatu
Combat Role: Massive Damage Attacks
Saboteur Powers/Skills
Archetype Power:
- Sewer Bomb – When adversaries get too close, detonate a bomb that erupts and spews gas.
Passive Power:
- Unseen Passage – Turn semi-invisible when crouching.
Clan Power:
- Vanish – Become invisible and move rapidly for a brief period.
Enforcer
The “Imposing Juggernaut.” The Enforcer’s firm will causes enemy minds to crumble into a condition of submission and disorder, rendering their usual supernatural strength into mere shambles.
Clan: Ventrue
Combat Role: Tank
Enforcer Powers/Skills
Archetype Power:
- Flesh of Marble – Temporarily render yourself immune to all attacks if you don’t engage in any offensive actions.
Passive Power:
- Subjugating Presence – Enemies nearby move slower. The Ventrue is also notified as the enemy approaches.
Clan Power:
- Unyielding Charge – Attacks with moderate damage and silences foes for a short time. No vampiric powers can be used while silenced.
