Pokémon Scarlet and Violet pits trainers against Eevee on the newest Tera Raid Event and earn valuable loot in the process. There are Eevee everywhere, each one decked out in its own special Tera type, making this the ideal time to jump into Tera Raid Battles if you’re a fan of the iconic Pokémon.
This new feature will undoubtedly inject some much-needed variety into Pokémon games, most notably in terms of online battle competitions. As such, let’s dive into the specifics of the Eevee Tera Raid Battle Event, listing along all the available rewards and what to expect along the way.
What are Tera Raid Battles in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?
Tera Raid Battles in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are unique Pokémon battles where four trainers face off against one terastalized Pokémon. They’re a lot like the Max Raid Battles in Pokémon Sword & Shield, but much faster-paced. You and up to three additional friends can play online, or you can play solo and build up the roster with NPC characters.
Additionally, Tera Raid battles may have a tera type Pokémon that is distinct from their normal type. This also means that each combat with a tera raid Pokémon is unique, giving the new battle concept a welcome dose of longevity.
Upon clearing a Tera Raid Battle, you can add the Terastal Pokémon to your team and earn some cool rewards.
Eevee Tera Raid Event Schedule (Date & Time)
The Eevee Tera Raid Event is available as of Thursday, November 24, 2022 (4 PM PT / 7 PM ET / 12 AM GMT / 23:59 UTC) until Sunday, November 27, 2022 (4 PM PT / 7 PM ET / 12 AM GMT / 23:59 UTC). During the event, Eevee will show up more frequently with various Tera types.
How to Join the Eevee Tera Raid Battle Event?
The first step in participating in an Eevee Tera Raid Battle is updating your game via an online connection. To connect to the Internet, just press [X] to bring up the menu, and then press [L] . After this, you’ll begin seeing crystals for the Tera Raid event emerge on your map.
Crystals for this event can be easily distinguished from ordinary Tera Raid Crystals. Since they radiate bright columns of light, these objects are easy to spot anywhere on the map.
Finding one of these Event Tera Raid Crystals enables players to either host or join event Tera Raid Battles. The tera type of the Pokémon inside the crystal is indicated by its color; for example, a red crystal would contain a Pokémon of the fire tera type.
To access the Tera Raid Battle menu, you should approach the crystal and touch it. Then, select a Pokémon to lead the raid either from your team or your Pokémon storage. Tera Raid Battles can be tackled as a party or on your own.
Note: Event Tera Raids will feature yellow event cards, viewable from the Tera Raid preparation screen or the Tera Raid Battle Search Menu. If you want to participate in Tera Raid Battles with other players online, you'll also need access to the internet and a Nintendo Online subscription.
