The new Season 18 Season of Plunder is out now in Destiny 2, and as always, along with the new season comes new rewards to get from the season pass. These rewards can provide great boosts and some exclusive weapons and skins for those who are diligent enough to grind for those levels (or generous enough to pay for the premium pass).
In this guide, we will be looking at all the free seasonal rewards and paid season pass rewards, as well as get a refresher on how to claim them, and on how to become efficient at grinding for XP.
How to get the Destiny 2 Season 18 Season Pass Rewards
To start getting the Season Pass Rewards for Season 18, you will first have to purchase the Season Pass for 1,000 Silver ($9.99 USD) through the Season 18 tab of the Director map. Then, you can start earning rewards be leveling up your season pass. It is recommended to buy the season pass before turning in any bounties for the day or week so that you can also get the XP rewards put towards your season pass.
Players who don’t purchase the season pass can still get the free seasonal rewards through the same methods of gaining XP, but the rewards will be different and not all season pass levels will have a free reward. Players who do purchase the pass can get both the free seasonal rewards and season pass rewards simultaneously as they gain pass ranks.

Season 18 Rank 1 – 10 Rewards
Rank 1: – / Delicate Tomb Exotic Fusion Rifle

XP can be gained by doing any activity during the season, and any XP gained will be counted towards the season pass. But, there are several ways on how to become more efficient at grinding for XP so that you can reach rank 100 sooner, such as:
Using XP mods: Your ghost has an XP Boost mod that can give bonus XP when equipped. Currently, the mod gives out an extra 12% XP bonus, so make sure that it is on your ghost before doing activities.
Complete Bounties: Earlier, we mentioned that it’s best to hold out on turning in bounties before purchasing this season’s pass. That way, you can get a huge boost with your pass ranks once these bounties are turned in. Also, make sure to always remember picking up bounties that either have XP++ or XP+ on them as rewards to maximize your XP earnings.
Complete Seasonal Challenges: Every season has a set of seasonal challenges that you can aim to get. Aside from getting sweet exclusive rewards from completing them, they also reward nice sums of XP.
Take advantage of the Well-Rested buff: Every weekly reset, all Guardians will be given a Well-Rested buff that provides +100% XP Gain for a certain limit. For the season pass XP gain, you can get the benefits of this buff for the first 5 pass ranks that you reach for the week.
Get the Pass’ XP Boost: For those who purchase the season pass, you’ll earn XP boosts as rewards by reaching ranks 5, 7, 16, 26, 36, 46, 56, 66, 76, and 86. They stack up with their respective boost type (solo or fireteam) and make grinding for the latter ranks a little less time-consuming. Just make sure to take advantage of being in a fireteam as much as possible.
