Seething Bazelgeuse is a retuning monster in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. It is a more explosive variant of the common Bazelgeuse that can blow an entire hunting party into smithereens. Its very hostile temperament can be quite a frightening thing to deal with, especially for the unprepared.
In this guide, we will talk about Seething Bazelgeuse and share some tips on how to make the hunt for it more manageable.
This article is a work in progress as we await for the Sunbreak free title update. It will be updated once the information becomes available.
Seething Bazelgeuse Characteristics
Seething Bazelgeuse is a flying wyvern and is a variant of the common Bazelgeuse. The most visible difference right off the bat is that Seething Bazelgeuse’s scales are already primed as if it’s always in a rage state even if they’re still attached to its body. Despite this, as long as they’re still attached, they do not explode if they’re struck by any weapon. Once they fall on the ground, the scales have the potential to explode sooner than the common scales.
Another thing that these scales are capable of is to reach a critical state where they glow purple. Once they drop on the ground, these scales will expand sort of like a popcorn, and eventually explode with a larger blast radius that deals a lot more damage.
