    The Illumination Quest Guide Disney Dreamlight Valley

    The Illumination is the third friendship quest from Woody in Disney Dreamlight Valley. In this quest, Woody discovers how the Carousel’s lights can be brought back to life and make everything work again.

    How to Complete The Illumination Quest

    After reaching friendship level 10 with Woody, talk to him to start The Illumination quest. You also need to have Moana and Ariel in the Village and have progressed your friendship with Mother Gothel. Follow these steps to complete the quest:

    1. Examine the toy chest in the Carousel
    2. Pick up the Old Ruler’s Lost Diary Page in the Carousel then talk to Woody
    3. Get a childhood item from the Villagers
    4. Bring the items from the Villagers to Woody
    5. Gather the materials for the Blanket Fort and craft it
    6. Have the perfect slumber party with Woody
    7. Meet Woody at the Carousel and talk to him

    After talking to Woody, he will tell you to check out the toy chest within the Carousel.

    Step 2: Pick up the Old Ruler’s Lost Diary Page in the Carousel then talk to Woody

    Opening the toy chest will reveal a piece of the Old Ruler’s diary. Tell Woody about this and he will tell you to gather childhood items from the Villagers.

    Step 3: Get a childhood item from the Villagers

    Next, you need to talk to the following Villagers to get their childhood items:

    • Moana
    • Ariel
    • Kristoff

    Step 4: Bring the items from the Villagers to Woody

    Once you’ve gathered all the items, you can go back to Woody and hand him over the items. He will then tell you that you need to build a Blanket Fort.

    Step 5: Gather the materials for the Blanket Fort and craft it

    You then need to gather these materials to build the Blanket Fort:

    • x40 Softwood
    • x5 Cotton
    • x4 Fabric
    • x4 Rope
    • x5 Glass

    After gathering the materials, go to a crafting station and craft the Blanket Fort.

    Step 6: Have the perfect slumber party with Woody

    Next, look for a spot where you can place the Blanket Fort. You can also wear some playful clothes as an optional objective. Then, take a picture in front of it with the other Villagers.

    Finally, head over to the Carousel and talk to Woody. You’ll then see the Carousel be restored back to a working condition. You will also get the Pull-String accessory that you can put on your character’s back.
