A Bit of a Fixer Upper is the first friendship quest from Woody in Disney Dreamlight Valley. In this quest, Woody asks for help in repairing his home, the Carousel, to bring it back to its former glory.

In this guide, we will go through the steps on how to complete the A Bit of a Fixer Upper quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to complete the A Bit of a Fixer Upper quest

After reaching friendship level 4 with Woody, talk to him to start the A Bit of a Fixer Upper quest. You also need to have Kristoff and WALL-E unlocked for this quest. Follow these steps to complete the quest:

  1. Go see Kristoff
  2. Gather the following materials
  3. Craft the Carousel Repair Kit and give it to Woody
  4. Talk to Woody
  5. Talk to WALL-E
  6. Find the following materials in the WALL-E Realm then craft the Fuse Box
  7. Make sure the Fuse Box is in your Inventory and give it to Woody
  8. Follow Woody to the Carousel
  9. Go to the Carousel to assess the damage and then talk to Woody
  10. Gather everything from the Carousel then bring everything to Woody

Step 1: Go see Kristoff

After talking to Woody, go see Kristoff and get his help in restoring the Carousel. He will tell you to craft a Carousel Repair Kit.

Step 2: Gather the following materials

To craft the Carousel Repair Kit, you’ll need to gather these materials:

  • x12 Softwood
  • x5 Hardwood
  • x2 Fabric
  • x1 Iron Ingot

Once you’ve gathered all materials, go to a crafting station and craft the Carousel Repair Kit. Then, go back to Woody to get the Carousel repaired.

Step 4: Talk to Woody

After fixing the Carousel, talk to Woody again and he will need help in fixing the claw machine. He will tell you to get help from WALL-E who knows more about machines.

Step 5: Talk to WALL-E

Go to WALL-E and he will tell you to gather some materials for him to create a Fuse Box.

Step 6: Find the following materials in the WALL-E Realm then craft the Fuse Box

Head over to the WALL-E Realm and look for all the twinkling spots in the ground. Use your shovel to dig up the following items:

  • x3 Replacement Fuse
  • x2 Electrical Component

You then have to gather additional materials:

  • x1 Glass
  • x5 Hardwood
  • x1 Iron Ingot

Once you’ve gathered all the materials, use the crafting station to craft the Fuse Box.

Step 7: Make sure the Fuse Box is in your Inventory and give it to Woody

Head over to Woody and show him the Fuse Box.

Woody will then use it on the Carousel, but the fuse box blows and breaks everything.

Go over to Woody and show him the Fuse Box. He will then use it on the Carousel, but everything breaks down.

You need to fix all the broken stuff inside the Carousel. Go inside the Carousel and pick up the following items:

  • x10 Claw Machine Pieces
  • x3 Alien Toy
  • x1 The Claw

After collecting everything, talk to Woody once more to complete the quest.

After completing the quest, you can then continue working on leveling up your friendship level with Woody.
