Failing Better Quest Guide Disney Dreamlight Valley

Failing Better is the first main quest from Woody in Disney Dreamlight Valley. In this quest, Woody is having a hard time fitting into the Valley and it’s up to the player help them ease into the Village life.

In this guide, we will go through the steps on how to complete the Failing Better quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to complete the Failing Better quest

This quest immediately becomes available after unlocking Woody. Talk to Woody to initiate the quest and follow these steps to complete it:

Talk to Remy
Eat the meals Woody prepared then return to Remy
Talk to Woody
Cook the following meals then bring the meals to Remy
Talk to Woody and follow him to Dazzle Beach
Make sure you have the Ingredients for Goofy in your Inventory then talk to Woody
Bring the Ingredients to Goofy
Meet Woody at the Carousel
Clean up the Trash in the Carousel (7)
Investigate the Memory in the Carousel then return to Woody

Step 1: Talk to Remy

After talking to Woody, head over to Remy to find out how Woody’s cooking went. he will give you the dishes that Woody prepared.

Step 2: Eat the meals Woody prepared then return to Remy

Open your inventory then eat the Gooey Paste and Salty Garlic Cheesecake. Report back to Remy how they tasted like.

Step 3: Talk to Woody

Head back to Woody to help him out in preparing meals to present to Remy. He’ll then give you the recipes for the dishes that you need to cook. Open your inventory and use them to add them in your recipe list.

Step 4: Cook the following meals then bring the meals to Remy

Go to any cooking station (the one inside Remy’s restaurant is recommended), then cook the following dishes:

Vegetarian Pizza
- x2 Vegetables
- x1 Tomato
- x1 Cheese
- x1 Wheat
Cheesecake
- x1 Cheese
- x1 Wheat
- x1 Sugarcane
- x1 Fruit

Once done, go to Remy and give him the dishes. You can choose whichever response to his question about who made them.

Step 5: Talk to Woody Follow Woody to Dazzle Beach

Head back to Woody and he’ll ask you for another favor to help out with Goofy. Then, follow him to Dazzle Beach.

Step 6: Make sure you have the Ingredients for Goofy in your Inventory

Woody will then ask you to gather these ingredients to give to Goofy:

x3 Cod
x3 Wheat

Step 7: Bring the Ingredients to Goofy

Once you have all the ingredients, head over to Goofy and hand them over to him.

Step 8: Meet Woody at the Carousel

Go back to Woody and talk to him. He’ll then ask you for one more favor and it’s to clean up his Carousel.

Step 9: Clean up the Trash in the Carousel

Go inside the Carousel and clean up the seven heaps of trash that are scattered around.

Step 10: Investigate the Memory in the Carousel then return to Woody

Pick up the memory that appears after cleaning all the trash and you’ll see a photo of how the Carousel looked like before. Talk to Woody and you’ll complete the quest.

After completing the quest, you can then continue working on leveling up your friendship level with Woody.
