Galarian Meowth is one of the regional variants of Meowth that was first introduced in Sword and Shield and have now made its way to Scarlet and Violet. However, this particular Pokémon does not roam wildly in the lands of Paldea, but rather can be obtained from one of the teachers of the Academy.
In this guide, we will talk about how to get Galarian Meowth in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
How to get Galarian Meowth in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
To get Galarian Meowth, you will need to take Language classes and form a bond with Salvatore, your Language teacher. In every class, you have the opportunity to answer his questions, which will then appear in the midterm and final exams. In between the classes and the exams, you can then find Salvatore in different parts of the Academy and talk to him to increase your bond. You can follow this cheat sheet to perfectly answer all of his questions.
For the first three classes, these are the correct answers to the questions:
- Thank you
- Delicious
- I love you
After taking all three classes, you can visit Salvatore in the Staff Room. Talk to him to increase your bond with him.
The next part of his class is the Languages Midterm. Most of the questions come from the classes that you took so far. Here are the answers:
- Thank you
- Délicieux
- Time to eat
- Compliment them
- Salvatore
For passing the exam, you’ll be rewarded with x5 Exp. Candies S. After the midterm, visit Salvatore over at the Schoolyard to help him with an injured Pawmi.
For the next three classes, you will have to find out what emotions the Pikachu cries convey. These are the correct answers to the questions:
- Anger
- Sadness
- Happiness
After taking all three classes, you can visit Salvatore at the Biology Lab where he consults with Jacq about the Pawmi’s condition.
The final part of his class is the Final Exam. All the questions here are based from the lessons you’ve learned from all the Language classes you took. Here are the answers:
- Délicieux

- Happiness
- Salvatore
For passing the exam, you’ll be rewarded with x5 Exp. Candies M. After the exam, visit Salvatore in the Staff Room again and tell him that Pawmi will be better if it stays with him. He will then reward you with a “Rare“ Meowth which is actually the Galarian Meowth.
