Farming materials in Genshin Impact is mostly one of the most difficult things to do in the game. One of these materials in the game known as the Rukkhashava Mushroom is hard to find. Luckily in this guide, we will teach players where to find this bluish rare mushroom and what uses they have once they are collected.
What are Rukkhashava Mushrooms in Genshin Impact?
These Mushrooms are a type of fungus that grows in layers upon layers and grows on trees deep in the rainforest. They can be found in underground caves as well and are easily spotted by their glowing figure. This item can be used to help ascend the characters such as Wanderer and Collei to increase their level caps.
Below is the total number of Total Rukkhashava Mushrooms needed to help increase their ascension levels
- Level 20 -> 40: Rukkhashava Mushrooms x3
- Level 40 -> 50: Rukkhashava Mushrooms x10
- Level 50 -> 60: Rukkhashava Mushrooms x20
- Level 60 -> 70: Rukkhashava Mushrooms x30
- Level 70 -> 80: Rukkhashava Mushrooms x45
- Level 80 -> 90: Rukkhashava Mushrooms x60
Where to Find Rukkhashava Mushrooms in Genshin Impact?
The Rukkhashava Mushrooms are exclusively found in the Sumeru. As stated above, they can be found in underground caves and usually grow on trees deep in the rainforest. The image below indicates where most of the mushrooms are located within the region:

Do note that these mushrooms are mostly in the following locations within Sumeru:
- Mawtiyima Forest
- Gandharva Ville
- Vanarana
- Vissudha Field
- Apam Woods
- Devantaka Mountain
Among the numerous locations noted above, going to either Mawtiyima Forest or Apam Woods is the best location to farm them. Rukkhashava Mushroom resets exactly 2 days after players have managed to collect them and they will need 6 more days at best to fully collect enough mushrooms to ascend a character to level 90.
Another method to get these mushrooms is by purchasing them from merchants that players will come across as they explore Sumeru. Usually, when purchasing them, they have a purchase limit of 5 and take at least 3 days to restock. The two shops where players can purchase the mushrooms are:
Ashpazi Shop
- Location: Gandharva Ville, Sumeru
- Price: 1000 Mora
Aramani’s Shop
- Location: Vanarana, Sumeru
- Price: 1000 Mora
Important Note: This shop can only be accessed if players unlocked Vanarana from the Aranyaka: Part II Dream Nursery quest, The World of Aranara.
