How to Recruit Anna in Fire Emblem Engage

Who is Anna in Fire Emblem Engage?

Traditionally a non-playable character, she appears throughout various Fire Emblem games as a guide, cameo, prompt for suspending map data, or most often as a merchant in one of the Secret Shops. In FE Engage, she is recruitable and an Axe Fighter / Backup, the same as Boucheron, however, she is in many ways better. Her skill, Make a Killing, gives her the ability to get 500G for her kills randomly based on her Luck stat.

How to Recruit Anna

Players can recruit Anna after completing Chapter 6: The Stolen Ring. Once completed, there will be a side quest that will be open on the west side of the map. Head straight to the Bandit Hideout and start the Mysterious Merchant paralogue.

In this quest, players will see Anna hiding in one of the chests in the bandit’s hideout. Players won’t need to open their chests. Allow the thieves to open 3 chests and once it reaches turn 4, she will begin to pop out of the chest as one of the thieves opens the chest and she will start running away.

To recruit during the battle, using Alear, approach her and use a turn to talk to her. After that, defeat the bandits and instantly, Anna will be recruited.
