The Normal Type is one of the eighteen Pokémon types and is the second most common type to exist so far. One notable trainer in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet who specializes in Normal types is Larry of the Medali Gym.

In this guide, we will be talking about Normal type weaknesses and resistances and how players can take advantage of it with the current Pokémon roster of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

    • Iron Valiant (Fairy/Fighting)
    • Slither Wing (Bug/Fighting)

    Normal Type Resistances

    Normal types are immune to:

Look out for these Pokémon who Normal types can counter:

    • Greavard (Ghost)

Keep in mind that Pokémon types are just rough guides with regards to weaknesses and resistances and that these Pokémon can still learn moves that are outside their type.
