Destiny 2 How to Get to Pleasure Gardens in Derelict Leviathan

The Pleasure Gardens is one of the locations found in Derelict Leviathan that is once again back in Destiny 2 following the release of Season of the Haunted. This location holds a very important chest where players can get materials and even the season exclusive weapons.

In this guide, we will be guiding you through the Derelict Leviathan to know how to reach the Pleasure Gardens.

What is in the Pleasure Gardens?

The Pleasure Gardens is one of the locations where you can find an Opulent Chest. It is from these chests that you can get the season exclusive Opulent Weapons like the Austringer, Calus Minitool, Drang, and Beloved.

These chests can only be opened by Opulent Keys which can be obtained as a reward from chests dropped by champion Nightmare enemies or the one found at the end of the run.

Opulent Chests can spawn in the other areas of the Derelict Leviathan other than the Pleasure Garden, but you will know where to go once you get the key. This is because hovering over the key in your inventory will show a clue as to where you can find a chest. One of these clues goes like this: “Pleasure Gardens, by fallen greatness.“

“Pleasure Gardens, by fallen greatness” Location in Destiny 2

First off, start at the outdoor central area and make your way all across to the other end, just stopping before you reach the stairs going up to the central building.

    Central area.

Then, turn right and circle around downwards until you see an opening leading to a passageway.

Doorway to the right leading to a passageway.

Go all the way through this passageway until you reach a junction. Take a left and go straight through the other doorways. Eventually, you’ll reach the Pleasure Gardens.

    Pleasure Gardens.

Go into the garden and take a right. You should see the huge head of Calus’ statue buried on the ground. Right next to it is the Opulent Chest.

Take note that only the Opulent Key that says “Pleasure Gardens, by fallen greatness” can open this chest. Otherwise, you will get the message that you don’t have the right key to open it and you will have to go to the right location as stated by the clue.

    Destiny 2 Opulent Weapons List

Here are the Opulent Weapons that you can expect to get in the Opulent Chest:

    • Austringer – Kinetic Hand Cannon
    • Beloved – Solar Sniper
    • Calus Mini-Tool – Solar Submachine Gun
    • Drang (Baroque) – Solar Sidearm
