    How to Reach the Floating Island in Disney Dreamlight Valley

    There’s a floating island that can be seen in the Glade of Trust that seems to be holding an orb within. However, there’s no bridge that connects to the island, and even if there was a jump function, the gap is too wide for a single bound. But there’s actually a more magical way to reach the island.

    In this guide, we will talk about the Floating Island of the Glade of Trust and how to get to it in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

    The Curse quest

    How to reach the Floating Island

    Reaching the Floating Island requires you to unlock the Glade of Trust for 5,000 Dreamlight. Doing so will unlock the quest called “The Curse” upon talking to Merlin. For a full guide on the quest, check out our Disney Dreamlight Valley The Curse Quest Walkthrough.

    As a quick summary for the quest up until you reach the Floating Island, you will need to follow these steps:

    1. Talk to Merlin about The Curse
    2. Interact with the huge tree in the Glade of Trust
    3. Talk to Mother Gothel
    4. Watch Merlin and Ursula’s conversation at Dazzle Beach
    5. Collect the following:
      • x5 Night Shards
      • x5 Dream Shards
    6. Talk to Kristoff
    7. Head to the Cursed Cave to give the materials to Ursula

    At this point, you will be transported to a place between Here and There, a parallel dimension where you can still roam the valley, but in an ethereal form. Travel back to the glade (teleporting works) and you can simply walk on air towards the Floating Island where you can retrieve the Orb of Trust.

    Aside from the orb, there are no other items of interest that can be found in the island, except for mushrooms that may spawn in there occasionally. After this quest, however, you will no longer be able to travel back to the floating island unless the game gets another content update that involves it.
