    Fire Emblem Engage Skirmishes (Explained)

Getting ready for battle is the key in any tactic game, especially in Fire Emblem Engage. There are different ways to increase one’s level in the game and one of the methods found is called skirmishes. In this guide, players will know what they are and what benefits players can get from it, so read on.

What are Skirmishes in Fire Emblem Engage?

Skirmishes are short optional battles in the game that are separate from the main story. They can be found across the map during each Chapter in locations that players have cleared. Skirmishes are made available after clearing Chapter 6. There are multiple types of Skirmishes to choose from in FE Engage and each one of them offers different rewards for completing them.

What Are Skirmishes - Fire Emblem Engage

The 3 types of Skirmishes are the following:

    • Standard Skirmish
      • Typical battles that players can engage in and are easier to complete. They offer standard rewards, gold, materials, ingredients, and SP once they are cleared.
    • Silver Corrupted Skirmish
      • One of the rare battles in that players can participate and will encounter mostly Silver Corrupted enemies. In return, if players manage to defeat them, they will be rewarded with significant SP and battle experience.
    • Gold Corrupted Skirmish
      • This battle is another rare battle that players can participate in and will encounter mostly Gold corrupted enemies. Clearing it will reward more gold than players have ever earned before.

Difference between Skirmishes & Training Battles

In Training Battles, they usually appear in different parts of the map and are not spawning at random. It doesn’t have any Gold or Silver Corrupted enemies and is still worth playing as players will earn a fixed amount of EXP and a hefty amount of gold as well. Also, if players have chosen Classic mode in their settings, any fallen unit in battle will not die.

Improving Skirmishes Through Donations - Fire Emblem Engage

    Improving Skirmishes Through Donations

Skirmishes can be upgraded in the game. The method to do it is through the Nation Donations menu found on the bulletin board in the Café Terrace at your home base of Somniel. Players will gain the ability to donate to any country in the game starting at 5,000 and later reaching 10,000, 25,000, and 50,000 even before reaching the next level.

Once each donation level for each country has been increased. The number of rewards that players can earn will increase as well as the number of types of skirmishes including the Silver and Gold corrupted skirmishes that will appear randomly on the map.

How To Spawn More Skirmishes in FE Engage - Fire Emblem Engage

How To Spawn More Skirmishes in FE Engage

There is a cheating way to spawn more skirmishes in the game. Players can re-roll the available Skirmishes by changing the Nintendo Switch’s internal clock. To change the internal clock, players must follow the instructions below:

    1. Open the Home Screen and Head to System Settings
    2. Scroll to the bottom and Select System
    3. Within the System, Find the Date & Time
    4. Disable Synchronize Clock via The Internet
    5. Select Date and Time and manually adjust the time to 1 hour ahead.
