TM or Technical Machine is an item that can be used to teach a Pokémon a move. In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, there are different ways to obtain them through exploration of the map or crafting them in the Pokémon Center. As such, this guide will teach players where to get one of the rarest TM found in the game called Nasty Plot, so read on.
What is the Nasty Plot TM?
Nasty Plot is a non-damaging Dark-type move that raises the user’s Special Attack stat by two stages. This move can be used by any type of Pokémon like Hydreigon by leveling it up. As stated above, this move can be found through exploration or through crafting them in the Pokémon Center for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Do note that these ways of getting it will be tedious, so try hard to become diligent in doing so.
How to get the Nasty Plot TM in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
There are two ways to obtain TM 140 Nasty Plot in the game without getting crafting materials. The 1st is deep in Area Zero after completing the final story mission of the game and the other is by completing all of Ms. Raifort’s history lessons.
In Area Zero, players must teleport to Research Station 2. Afterward, exit the building and climb the mountain behind it. At the top near a rock on the left side, the Nasty Plot TM can be found.
As for the 2nd way, completing all of Ms. Raifort’s history lessons make look easy but it isn’t. Players must not only finish their classes but also must catch all 4 Treasures of Ruin, meaning players must travel to find all the Ominous Stakes hidden across the region of Paldea and find the Legendary Pokémons as well. Once they have been found, head back to the Staff Room in the Academy and talk to Ms. Raifort to claim the TM.
