Where to Find Vali the Oath Guard in God of War Ragnarok?
Vali the Oath Guard can be found during the favor known as For Vanaheim.
As you track the favor, players must travel to the realm called The Plains in Vanahein, where a red chest is near the entrance of the boss battle with the red dragon, The Crimson Dread.
How to Defeat Vali the Oath Guard in God of War Ragnarok?
Vali the Oath Guard will have a variety of skills and abilities that are really frustrating to conquer. As such, below is a list of pointers to remember when facing him:
- Vali has a long health bar and is a tough Traveller to face.
- He wields a huge two-handed sword and is very slow when swinging it. This part can be used to Kratos’ advantage as it can be parried in succession for large damage.
- Be wary of his downward slam attack as it is unblockable and deals a ton of damage.
- Also, note that whenever he raises the skull above his head, aim at it using the axe or spear and it will prevent Vali to perform magical outburst attacks
- Watch out for Shadows for it will defend and fight alongside Vali. Kill them first otherwise they will start firing projectiles against you depleting your health constantly.
